Crimes (Legalisation of Slavery) Amendment Bill === ### 1. Title This Act may be cited as the Crimes (Legalisation of Slavery) Amendment Act 2019. ### 2. Commencement This Act comes into force on the day after the date it receives the Royal Assent. ### 3. Purpose The purpose of this Act is to legalise slavery. ### 4. Principal Act This Act amends the Crimes Act 1961 (the principal Act). ### 5. Section 98 repealed (Dealing in slaves) Repeal section 98. ### 6. Section 98AA repealed (Dealing in people under 18 for sexual exploitation, removal of body parts, or engagement in forced labour) Repeal section 98AA.
