Public Transport Accessibility (Expansion) Amendment Bill === ### 1. Title This Act may be cited as the Public Transport Accessibility (Expansion) Amendment Act 2019. ### 2. Commencement This Act comes into force on the day after the date it receives the Royal Assent. ### 3. Purpose The purpose of this Act is to expand free public transport to the rest of the population and make it available outside of off-peak hours. ### 4. Principal Act This Act amends the Public Transport Accessibility Act 2018 (the principal Act). ### 5. Section 3 amended (1) Repeal the definition of **off-peak**. ### 6. Section 4 amended (1) Replace the contents of section 4 with the following— > (1) Public Transport shall be made free of charge.
