### 1. Title

This Act may be cited as the Magna Carta Repeal Act 2020.

### 2. Commencement

This Act comes into force on the day after the date it receives the Royal Assent.

### 3. Purpose

The purpose of this Act is to repeal the Magna Carta.

### 4. Principal Act

This Act amends the Magna Carta 1297 (the principal Act).

### 5. Repeal of the Magna Carta

The Magna Carta 1297 is repealed.
