Crimes (Legalisation of Incest) Amendment Bill

### 1. Title

This Act may be cited as the Crimes (Legalisation of Incest) Amendment Act 2020.

### 2. Commencement

This Act comes into force on the day after the date it receives the Royal Assent.

### 3. Purpose

The purpose of this Act is to legalise the sexual connection between two consenting adults where it would be considered incest.

### 4. Principal Act

This Act amends the Crimes Act 1961 (the principal Act).

### 5. Section 130 repealed (Incest)

Section 130 is repealed.
