### Modifications to the Refugee Quota Programme

Pursuant to the authority granted to the Minister of Internal Affairs, Immigration New Zealand is hereby directed to take the following actions:

(1) remove the requirement to have a family member resident in New Zealand for refugees from the Africa and Middle East regions of asylum; and

(2) adjust the regional allocations for refugees to be as follows:

| Asia-Pacific | 30 |
| Americas | 10 |
| Middle East | 35 |
| Africa | 25 |
