# Booting your chosen distribution
Booting into the Linux Distribution of your choice shouldn't be hard
First, power off the device, and look up what your device's *UEFI/BIOS Menu Key* is, usually, it's `F12`, `F2`, or the `DELETE` key
Once you know what key to press, power on the device and repeatedly press the *UEFI/BIOS Menu Key*, you should get into a menu which allows you to change various system settings.
**From here, search for "Secure Boot", and make sure it is turned off.**
Now, search for "Boot Order" or "Boot Priority", and **make sure your USB Stick is at the top of the list.**
---
### Reboot, and your distro of choice should begin booting after a couple of seconds.
