### General
Every wednesday, we have an internal seminar (occasionally with invited speakers) at 11:00am. Primarily, the seminars are meant for scientific presentation, but we also want to encourage all of you to just take the opportunity to present anything interesting (please let it be work related :sweat_smile:). Some examples might be:
- You need some feedback for an upcoming conference talk? Hold your presentation for us!
- You feel very productive? Share parts of your work routine with the rest!
- You are very good at presenting your work? Show us exactly how you do it!
- You are good at optimising code? Tell us how to speed up our computations!

Since we have a broad diversity in educational background (biology, ecology, math, physics) some introduction to some of the basics of each background can also spawn a viable topic.

### Information for moderator

| Seminar talk | Moderation tasks|

|Introduction | Say "Welcome to the CCTB Seminar"|
||Introduce yourself (name) and say that you are the moderator today |
||Ask if there are new members of the CCTB → introduce themselves|
||Introduce the speaker (level of detail depend if everyone knows him/her or not)|
|Talk| Take care of the time; good if ~15 min for questions are left|
|Questions| Open it & thank the speaker|
||Encourage people to use the chat to write "I have a question", look at the screen if somebody is raising their hand or check if someone is using the Zoom-Function of rising their hand |
||Order the question, that everyone has the opportunity to ask something |
||End in time (max 1 hour), if necessary stop the discussion; say thanks & goodbye|
