Both of them uses own logical nodes which also different, you can see it on the scetch. Another comparison is FlexRIC. FlexRIC integrate with OAI’s 5G cellular radio stack. For O-RAN, FlexRIC E2-agent compatibility with the O-RAN RIC. Meanwhile, they both uses F1 interfaces , which includes F1-C - control plane and F1-U - user plane, for connection CU to DU for OAI and O-CU to O-DU for O-RAN
