# Bobcombat: I literally cannot come up with names for projects without a self insert (i am sorry) ## Intro Ok gamer, i am barely literate, but i have to start documenting my thought process when doing shit, so i can more easily organize my thoughts and spot glaring, gaping, anal flaws in my plans. Moving on, this is Bobcombat. **The founding principles for this are very simple:** * Combat should be punishing, and preferably avoided if you don't have preparation for it. * Art imitates life, the game should strive for quasi-realism for the sake of immersion. Roleplaying should strive to immerse the player and not break the suspension of disbelief. * While punishing, it shouldn't be pure CBT - the system needs to be flexible to allow players to put their character's best attributes to use. Ideally, no character should be completely useless (asides from beggars, fuck those).
