# Purple Room Session 2 Tier list ## S tier **Manchu** Manchu has the biggest standing army in the world. Banners are making up big part of their army the horde looks unstoppable. Manchu might settle down soon to form a monarchy and become the true ruler of China. His biggest current weakness is his lack of ideas despite being a horde capable of generating lots of points. His empire is massive, he has the highest dev and real dev in the entire world. Manchu still has massive amount of territory he can take up for free. Optimizing his income probably his next goal in the next session. **Timurids** Timurids have grown steadily during this second session and are only 1 province away from forming Mughals (picking it up from a dead nation should be easy enough if another player doesn’t steal it). With only one true rival Timurids are in a really strong position and can throw their weight around as he pleases. Ahead on every tech and ideas the only potential weakness is his lack of the newest institution which is still far away from Timurids lands. Timurids has the potential for rapid growth next session. While he still has no player allies and fully relying on AI vassals, he does have many mountain forts protecting him from west and east, this solid defence that will be extremely hard to get through. **France** France fully secured his hold on the Iberian Peninsula, but at the end of the session ended up in a war with the central powers. This started when rose to protect the polish from Germans by declaring on his previous ally Switzerland. The emperor accepted the call and he and his trusted allies went on a rampage through France. This has been devasted the land and killed many French troops. French economy has taken a solid beating from the Austrian emperor and maybe going bankrupt soon. Even though the war looks like a loss, a little loss of land is unlikely to weaken this behemoth. Anyone taking any lands from the French will surely end soon in another war with this French empire which stretches from Lisbon to Paris. The French king is in two wars and might choose to focus on just one. He might end up taking more lands than he loses. Soon with new military tech and new policies the French are sure to make a great comeback. Clearly the strongest power in western Europe by quite the margin. ## A tier **Poland** Poland is causing war in Europe, luckily the war didn’t come to him and France is paying the price, while polish troops rest in the homeland. Poland will get a huge power spike when he gets out of war and forms PLC. While everyone around him has been steadily growing, Poland has not expanded a lot. Poland is at risk of stagnating unless expansion paths opens up. **Russia** Russia still manages to have perfect tech and ideas. With a huge army and huge income, the Russian empire is sure to expand a lot in the near future. His allies to the west aren’t in the same situation and he might need to help them or decide that the allies to the west aren’t worth it anymore. **Hungary** Hungary changed their religion this session, unlike most nations in Europe they looked east and adopted the orthodox faith as their state religion granting them powerful buffs. Hungary has carved out himself a powerful empire and might be the strongest in central Europe as off now. Passing the emperor in army strength might change the dynamic in their relationship. Defeating France in battle with the Austrian will also show Europe the true strength of the nation placed in the Balkans. Might also want to look into investing some gold into buildings as they are few and far in between. **Bengal** The Bengal tiger expanded massively for another session making a huge land grab in the south of India. With potential for a good set of national ideas and a good culture group this is surely a nation that can form soon the best military in the world. His income will keep growing as he integrates more land into himself and state more of it. The only worry Bengal is facing is probably the two strongest nation in the game are around him. Coming to an accord with these two power houses will be of great benefit to him. ## B tier **Austria** Austria this session decided to throw his weight around and decree that France shouldn’t bully his empires minor dukes around. With his friend in the east they manage to occupy large part of France and the culmination of this war should be decided next session. Austria also manage to eat half of Italy and a large area around Austrian heartland. Austria is a strong b tier but with a decrease in power as the holy roman emperor he will need to find new power from elsewhere. The question of faith will also be a decide what power Austria will have in the future. The Catholics are declining within his country so soon a decision will need to be made what religion both Austria and the empire will follow. Conflict in the empire is brewing will the empire, manage to control it and come out on top or will there be a new emperor? **Great Britian** Great Britain has opted to go into exploration in their third idea group, playing the long game telling Europe to fuck off he is performing an early Brexit and founding his empire elsewhere. From the previous session England economic power has increased by a lot, with him manging to fill the British Isles with buildings. Earning a solid income off 85 ducats each month, but with basically only navy as an expense Great Britain has left them in comfortable state. Great Britain was not just only tired of Europe expansion he also decided to tell everyone their god sucked and started his own religion. Where he can dev and be eccentric and invent shit. Britain has decided that he isn’t going to care about Europe in the near future and will sit and turtle on his island and let his power grow. **Mamluks** Despite being far behind on tech, ideas and economy no one carved him up yet. Being behind didn’t stop him from beating the Ethiopians and he has been plundering and looting them for cash. Using this in finance his recovery after his war with the Ottomans. Mamluks need to pray that no one jumps on him while his tech is so low. Using the estates for mana is also something that must be done. If the Sultan of Egypt manages to get economy and tech up to the same level as the other major power, he will be a dangerous foe to meet later in the game. ## C tier **Mewar** Mewar manage to defeat his last enemy Delhi but is still surrounded by major powers which are way stronger and looking to snowball faster. Will Mewar beat the odds again with good diplo and warfare despite looking like a clear underdog? Lacking institution and ideas will hurt him in any war in the near future. He is by far the weakest in the region and will need to take some big measures to make sure he won’t die. Only having one good ally close by makes the diplomatic game also hard one. **Malacca** Malacca lacking tech and ideas still, but with no threats around him he is free to do what he wants. With there still being room for lots of expansion within his region he still has great potential to grow his power. Also, with a strong land ally close by not a lot of threat for this island nation. **Milan** Milan manage to take half of Italy while sharing the other half with Austria. Milan stands in between the major powers in Europe and is likely forced to pick a side between them. Which side should he pick and what can he offer in return? **Japan** Japan stand strong on his island, having united his home region and spawning colonialism. Japan is still in the good graces of the horde to the east which has manage to almost unite China last session. If diplomacy goes wrong between those two then investing in a big navy would be wise to have. Moving outside of Japan might be the only option for expansion and to grow in strength so he can rival the Asian powerhouses. **Switzerland** Switzerland manage to expand despite being in the middle of Europe and bordering 5 players. Switzerland has many internal issues like inflation, rebels, loans and lack of institution. His peasants are also looking into different religion which is causing a little unrest. The external threats are also big with so many players around him. He incurred the wrath of France by taking the “French” territory of Burgundy. But by good diplomacy the Swiss managed to call in central powers and they are currently helping him defend against France. With major powers on all sides Switzerland is going to require some good diplomacy if he’s going to continue to grow. **Sweden** Sweden is plagued with high debt. Where the money went, no one knows? The country is poor and needs major investment. Bankruptcy is looming and people are looking at Sweden and wondering what the king is doing there. Building up buildings needs to be a priority and getting a sugar daddy might be something to investigate. Also, as Sweden is an elite infantry nation, getting rid of the horses might be a good solution. Horses are for those southern pretty boys and not the ancestor of Ragnar Lodbrok. With going exploration as a true Viking, Sweden will need some other military powers to keep them defended while colonies are established. Maybe some cooperation with other colonizers. Nobility needs to be curtailed so the king can be in full control again. Swapping religion and reducing inflation will also be something that needs to be done. Sweden is going to have a busy next session. **Brandenburg** Brandenburg have setup a base in lubeck trade node which is shared with Sweden. Ending the session at war, with Poland declearing on him to stopping him to form prussia a major war errupted out of that when Poland called France in and France decleared on Swiss which got Hungary and Austria in. This war will decided if Brandeburg will allow to form his rightfull country Prussia. Also has the ability to milk the estates for some mana when needed. ## D tier **Kilwa** Kilwa manage to beat his closes enemy the Ethiopian, but with current idea group expansion he is vulnerable for anyone that want his land or gold. He might need to look for defence from Mamluks or pay them off. Mamaluks has grown rich looting the Ethiopian so some deterrence might be needed for the gold rich nation in eastern Africa. Also, with ever increasing inflation of over 8, investment in an inflation reduction adviser and economic ideas might be necessary to prevent economic collapse caused by the biggest goldmines in the world. Also investing in some buildings to recover when the goldmines eventually collapse might be smart move to make. Strong D+ **Hesse** Gotten a bigger foothold in the western part of the HRE this session and parts of the rich Dutch land has made Hesse more powerful, but sadly everyone around him has increased their strength a lot more. Hesse is going to need some massive gains if he wants to stay alive this campaign and not be a part of a land deal by the major nations around him. Hesse is also in need to get buildings up really fast as a puny army and small manpower pool doesn’t make him an attractive ally for anyone ## E tier **Ethopia** Currently being crushed by Mamluks and Kilwa. Needs friend to get out of this bad cycle or the death of Ethiopia will come real soon. **Morocco** Manage to get back its holding from the Iberians after they were defeated by French war machine. With exploration ideas and Iberian dead there might be a spot in the new world to put up an empire, but currently is in a really weak position where any of the European nations could literally come and grab free land. Needs to get some allies or build up a sizeable army and navy. ## F tier **Bahmannis** Died, No one took kindly to the new king of Bahmannis and just died. **Delhi** Delhi got beaten by Mewar on the battlefield and on diplomacy, getting carved up the rest of nations around him.
