# Punitive Regulations --- The purpose of this document is to explain the Security Forces punitive system. ## Authority to Charge --- Any person who meets any of the requirments listed below can with reason and within regulation, can charge a member of the Security Forces with a punitive crime. The officer+ must be of the member's being charged division, furthermore the officer only has priority if he is charging him with violating a divisional regulation or divisional order. If the person being charged has violated a Punitive Article or a Security Forces wide regulation/order MP has priority. MP has priority regarding CoE. * Officer+ * Military Police Supervisor+ ## Enforcement --- Any person below can enforce the punitive code. This also goes in priority of enforcing. MP have priority in cases involving Punitive Article's or Security Forces wide regulations/orders, as well as priority in CoE. * Major * Captain * Lieutenant * Military Police Supervisor+ * Military Police ## Punishment --- Punishment regulations, will go into how the system works and limits. On 1st offense, per offense a person is to be given a punishment within the minimum and maximum of the offense they committed. Punishments may be stacked for each offense committed. On 2nd offense, punishments are to be doubled, punishments still stack. Punishments may be appealed to Deputy Chief+. A punishment may only be appealed 1 week after it has been served unless there is clear evidence of no wrong doing or if the punishment for the charge was too heavy. (Such as being suspended for 2 weeks for saying stupid) ### Punishment Restrictions --- This section will cover who can give out what punishments. Deputy Chief+ never need proof. If regarding divisional matters, divisional officers have priority over MP. If it is regarding Punitive Articles or offenses that go above the division MP have priority. * Warnings; Proof is needed. * 48 Hour Suspension-72 Hour Suspension; Proof is needed. * Demotion-Permanent Rank Lock; Proof is needed. * Bar From Attaining Rank-Dishonorable Discharge; Major+ and MP Commander+ with authorization from a Deputy Chief+ for a Bar From Attaining Rank, proof is needed. General-Dishonorable Discharge's must be approved by a Security Chief+ with proof. ## System --- All punishments are to be logged in #punishment-log for the punishment to be logged, and you can do whatever has to be done and send it in #discplinary logs. Once the #punishment-log has been given a checkmark the trello has been updated.
