The Past
Learning From The Past
As sometimes happens with launches in the space, things don't necessarily go as planned. It isn't any one person's fault, but instead becomes a teaching moment for the community as a whole. The SaveTheKids team has absorbed a lot of information over the last few days and has learned a tremendous amount in order to keep us growing and thriving even when a launch doesn't go as planned.
It's important to state that out in the open: the launch and the first 48 hours did not go as planned. We understand that, we feel that, and in the same time, we are more hopeful than ever about the future of this token moving forward. Leaning on and learning from each other and our community, we are excited to continue to bring change to kids across the world as well as create a positive experience for investors of the SaveTheKids ($KIDS) token. However, before we move forward, it's important to be transparent about the past so everyone can understand and appreciate where we started, what we learned, and where we are headed.
We will continue to learn from moments that push us and will continue to get better and be extremely transparent each and every day. With that said, it's best to start at the beginning so everyone has a quick understanding of the first 48 hours of $KIDS.
Presale
The presale was a mix of private and public members. We had 1140 applicants and almost 200 different investors in the presale, with half coming from the public telegram. The presale price was $0.00626 per STK token (calculated with BNB price at the time). The full calculation can be given on a person to person basis if requested. The launch price was $0.006 per STK token, meaning the presale price was 4-5% higher than the launch price.
We gave members 3 days to fill out the presale form and we received 1140 responses. In order to reach a high liquidity, we picked what we considered to be the most trusted members who were investing an impactful amount of BNB. The high liquidity successfully combated botting as we expected. Roughly 10 to 20 percent were accepted into presale.
Ambassadors
The most important thing to state here is that ambassadors of SaveTheKids are not paid by us and are not given ANY $KIDS tokens. Ambassadors didn't delete tweets and then dump their tokens as claimed in the Telegram, as ambassadors were never given any tokens. Any of our ambassadors are involved in our project because they have bought into and believe in our mission.
There is the mystery of one ambassador deleting a tweet and another ambassador un-retweeting a tweet that involved $KIDS and that can be explained as a cross-Cryptocurrency affair. On the day we launched, there was a push from the celebrities' marketing teams to pull back on cryptocurrency promoting to not lose fans due to fans possibly losing money. This took place the day of launch and caused our largest ambassador to be forced to remove a tweet promoting us. This was not due to any issue between the $KIDS team and this specific ambassador, but due to a conflict between the ambassador and their marketing team.
At the current time, we will wait for our marketing plan to get into place and the action of the token to solidify before adding additional influencers/ambassadors. These are things that will come again and will come in short order, but we have more pressing issues to address at the moment.
Anti-whale/bot Measures
The anti-whale measure DID work as expected. It was audited by Techrate which can be found here. The anti-whale measure limited the amount each whale could sell to 0.1% of the total supply per minute. We cannot prevent several whales from dumping at the same time which is what occurred at the ATH of the price. The reason for the gradual decrease in price after was due to the anti-whale measure stopping individuals from dumping their holdings all at once.
There were a number of presale wallets who did repeatedly dump their holdings and we are as upset as the community that they did. The deletion of an ambassador tweet caused confusion and panic, and several of our trusted presalers panicked along with the community. We asked all presalers to only take out initial investments during launch to prevent panics, but clearly we should not have trusted some of the members we included. We should have done a better job at vetting these investors and is something we have learned about for the future.
All concerns about people who sold tokens can be addressed on your own by visiting BSCScan and taking a look at all buys/sells since the tokens inception.
Twitter Giveaway
Admittedly, at the current juncture, jobs were assigned but were not focused and trouble was caused by a lack of communication. At THIS CURRENT MOMENT, we who are writing this do not have an update on who ran the Twitter Giveaway. As soon as we find out we will update this to ensure those who entered get their rewards. We thank you for your patience.
Addressing the FUD
We understand people lost money which is where most of these claims of being a scam come from. We had a rocky launch due to many moving parts not aligning at the start, and then we had an ambassador pull their support which caused panic. We are not abandoning this project and we are continuing with our roadmap. We have CMC and CoinGecko listings coming within 2 days and we are in contact with Poocoin to get on their vetted list. We are in contact with other ambassadors and are in contact with a couple more exchanges. We are with this project long-term and have great plans for the future. While we struggled with transparency from the start, we are working to add peices to improve our communication from a Public Relations standpoint.
I hope this addresses some of your concerns. We understand you have to look into claims of scams and appreciate your diligence. We hope that you understand this and will continue to support and grow with us as we rebuild from the ground up.
The Present
Charity Wallet Update
We need to fill the community in on some updates regarding the charity wallet. Previously the Charity Wallet link on https://savethekids.io/ linked to the Binance Lunch for Children program, but it did not show OUR donations because our contract filled the generic Binance Charity Wallet and we had to direct them where to apply the donation. However, the Binance Lunch for Children program is now full, but we are still filling the generic Charity Wallet while we decide where to donate next. For 100% transparency, the charity wallet link on https://savethekids.io/ will now link to the generic Binance wallet to prove that donations are being made. Our 1% tx fee for donations feeds this wallet directly and proof can be seen below in the pictures and links. Please let us know if you have any questions regarding our donations.

Contract Timelock
The original intention was to renounce the contract when possible. This way there is no "owner" of the contract that can make modifications. Instead, the team has decided to implement a timelock that prevents changes to contract operations for 24 hours until they take effect. This way there will always be 24 hours of notice before any changes.

The Mission
Despite a rocky start (detailed above), our mission pushes forward, and we're just getting started. During the last day we have made internal adjustments to create better communication amongst ourselves and the community, shifted marketing strategies, dedicated ourselves to providing clearer updates, and have been in direct contact with representatives for further listings and exposure. We will also be increasing our presence on Reddit and Twitter.
A reminder to all, the utility of Save the Kids is to help provide resources for children in need around the world, and this has not stopped. 1% of every single transaction continues to be transferred to charity where our donations are used to provide these much needed resources. The results have been incredible. We've already donated over 8 million KIDS tokens to the Binance for Lunch Charity and the current allocation to the Binance Charity wallet can be seen here with over 19 million KIDS tokens waiting to be donated. These donations are THE purpose of this project, and your continued support is invaluable. A big shoutout to all the people in the community who continue to make this mission possible. This project is bigger than any single ambassador. The token holders and the children in need will ALWAYS be our #1 priority. Let's keep it going!
