# Scrum Notes ## 10/17/2020 ### Members Present: * Sapphire * Jason ### What did I do last workday? * Jason: Started on GDD, mostly done up until story * Sapphire: Finished first draft of TDD. Flushed out more ideas ### What am I doing today? * Jason: Trying to finish rest of GDD and getting some of the classes done for blender to start making characters * Sapphire: Trying to get some rough versions of the gameplay mechanics finished and ready for prototype ### What are my blockers? * Jason: I have no idead what I'm doing * Sapphire: Only have one screen to try and work on ## 10/18/2020 ### Members Present: * Jason * Sapphire ### What did I do last workday? * Jason: Lessons 1-5 in the Intro to Maya. Made a rocket model and finished GDD * Sapphire: Got started on the inventory system and item dropping. Inventory system is function, just working on the enemy dropping items and enemy health since it ties in with dropping items. ### What am I doing today? * Jason: Trying to see if I can find the arnold tab for proper lighting and learning lighting, texturing, and hopefully animating to begin making blockout models for the game * Sapphire: I'm gonna be working on enemy scripts (health/item dropping). Main goal today is to get those finished and then start on a new mechanic. ### What are my blockers? * Jason: Arnold is not there and following along via YouTube so it's a slow process. * Sapphire: No blockers ## 10/19/2020 ### Members Present: * Jason * Sapphire ### What did I do last workday? * Jason: * Learned basic animation for rocket * Textured rocket * Finished rocket! * Sapphire: * Pushed project to GitHub private repo * Upgraded project to Unity2020 * Finished basic movement * Finished basic enemy health * Finished basic player health * Finished item dropping * Finished basic inventory * Finished item pickups * Finished item usage ### What am I doing today? * Jason: * Start the basic enemy blockouts * Start the basic enemy animations * Start the character design document * Sapphire: * Camera movement * Item rarity effects * Some updates to inventory and item data scripts ### What are my blockers? * Jason: * Doing this without tutorial * Not super familiar with every little thing in Maya * Sapphire: * No idea how to do item effects * Don't know a ton about particles in HDRP ## 10/20/2020 ### Members Present: * Jason * Sapphire ### What did I do last workday? * Jason: * Started basic enemy blockout * Didn't like them, planning on redoing them * Started basic enemy animations * Learned how to rig * Learned how to export/import properly (mostly) for Unity * Sapphire: * Set up a scene for Jason * Camera movement * Started item rarity effect * Learned a lot about VFX graph and did some tutorials with that ### What am I doing today? * Jason: * Follow a 3D modelling tutorial to make a well * Redo the enemy blockouts * Start the character design document * Sapphire: * Working to improve item rarity effect in VFX graph ### What are my blockers? * Jason: * Still struggling with Maya * Sapphire: * Limited understanding of VFX Graph # Template: ### Members Present: Jason ### What did I do last workday? * Jason: * Made a well and transfered it into Unity * Sapphire: ### What am I doing today? * Jason: * Follow a 3d modelling tutorial to make a low poly character * start the Character Design Document * Sapphire: ### What are my blockers? * Jason: * I'm dog sitting 5 dogs * maya * Sapphire: ###### tags: `Detox`
