一、iLO是什麼?後台設定又是什麼?

iLO是一個伺服器管理晶片，我一般都和人說，iLO是伺服器主機管理的後台，iLO提供遠端控制的功能。所以我去設定iLO的IP跟其他資訊，也就是後台設定。

其實iLO是HP Server的名詞，其他的管理晶片有如，Dell的iDRAC、IBM的IMM，主要功能類似，些許功能有差異性。

後台管理介面有自己的IP, 將螢幕接到伺服器主機，類似於Client進入BIOS的方法一樣，可以先到那裡設定固定IP。

在使用後台管理晶片的時候，請先連接好網路線，可以參考圖片中手指位置。

iLO 使用html開啟的遠端管理介面，進入前需要啟用他。

二、後台設定

（一）、iLO環境簡單說明

登入後我們會看見管理的介面，我如果要遠端遙控我會使用紅框對其進行設定。

我會使用 HTML5

點選進入遠端管理後，可以看到什麼呢?可以看到電腦該伺服器現在的畫面，底下.42是我設定該前台的位置，也就是我設定VMware的IP位置，我只要在網域內輸入.42這個IP就可以連上VMware的介面去新增虛擬機 、 vSwitch設定等等。

點左上角的按紐會跑出關於電源的開關部分。

你如果重開iLO的話會跑出如下圖所示，可以看到iLO的IP等等資訊

開機中。主要iLO後台的設定都是從這裡，目標是VMWare虛擬環境的建置，所以，以下先說明VMWare該做的事情。

（二）、VMWare必做事項

剛剛一登進來的地方輸入F2到裡面看環境。這裡的部分已經是VMware了，注意要輸入的帳號密碼。

進入後可以修改密碼，並且修改IPv4資訊。

（三）、iLO後台設定

先進行重開。

可以透過iLO的功能重開機

按F9啟動管理介面

正常重開機畫面，並在提示之時按下F9

進入後畫面如下圖所示，開始進行管理。

找到Network Options 開始設置。

設置如下，這個設置是屬於iLO的設置，設定完成後你可以透過這個IP遠端控制iLO。

結論

在虛擬化環境建置的開始之前，需要做非常多的設定，除了硬碟清洗、RAID相關設定，網路的部分也要進行處理，若沒有固定的IP或者裝置Gateway沒有設定好，可能會導致整體環境運作產生問題。
