In early 2022, Singular XQ went non-profit and open-source. [ Advisor] Yeah--remember---Singular XQ used to be a solopreneur consultancy with a team of social scientists, designers, engineers, and researchers as subcontractors. Work JP has built since she started consultancy waaaaaaay-=------ JP: Hey. It wasn't that long ago! [Advisor] Alright. Well let's put it this way. There was no Wifi. [Advisor] And Bill Clinton was president. JP: Alright. It's true. I've been around a long time. But that's a feature not a bug! [Advisor]: Naturally! Anyway---JP and the team, many of now who are advisors and employees here, started to get the idea that to make the pardigm shifts toward equity and sustainability they all felt passionate about that we were really a social impact, open source consultancy. [Advisor] That's right. So we found a partner named Fractured Atlas who gives us fiscal status as a non-profit endeavor. JP: So yeah--our formal fundraisers will kick off very soon but the very first thing we wanted to do was reach out to our our podcast family. You've grown a lot since we first began in Season 1.
