This rule also applies to DMs sent from my chat. Anyone is free to report this behavior coming from my chat and it will be dealt with provided proper evidence.
Illegal material can include the following:
"Unwished for" material can include the following:
If something is not listed here, it is not exempted from the rule. Use common sense before posting any media, text message, or forwarding anything.
It is alright to advertise in the context of some chats (e.g Android Learners), however it is NOT allowed to advertise the same thing more than once per month.
If you're caught abusing the once-per-month rule extensively through e.g scheduled messages, action WILL be taken.
Spamming the chat is entirely forbidden. Either through excessive use of memes and alike in Android Learners, excessively advertising projects, or refusing to bundle long strings of text into one message if possible.
The chat should be kept in-line with it's topic. In this case, that means it is for discussing Android, sharing experiences with it, or helping others with it in any way, shape or form.
Shitposting in chat or alike is not considered Android-related generally, if you want an offtopic chat, go to My Blog's Chat instead.
This will immediately invalidate your Administrator request, and you will not be promoted in the lifespan of my ownership or the existence of the chat.
As to stay transparent, I have decided to make the Moderation Guidelines that moderators and admins have to follow entirely public. They are quite simple:
This includes impersonating someone with a channel, banning someone unfairly, or using your administrative privileges for anything not covered in the rules above.
If you've been given a certain set of permissions, begging for more permissions is immediately going to take all your administrative permissions away. Asking again will result in a 7 day ban. Any further asking results in a permanent federation-wide-ban.
This ties into Guideline 1.
Specifically, this is clarification on the fact that you can't put anything under "common sense" to enforce your own thoughts on moderation.
If you're a federation admin, make sure to use the @ABTEvidence channel if needed.
These rules and Guidelines are subject to change at any time, with or without notice, and are required for any member in chat to be followed.
Punishments for not following the rules are dealt with on a case-by-case basis.
