## Theme
There are some things we can change about the general theme without messing stuff up

From **theme customization**
Scroll down to **Theme settings**

### Colors
Colors are an obvious and easy one. From **theme customization**
Scroll down to **Theme settings**
Choose **Colors** and the primary and secondary color can be edited.

## Home Page
### Main Banner

This refers to the first and main banner in the center of the screen. This will be used for the most important information we want customers to recieve. There is able to be up to 2 images.

Each Image should be 1920x770 For proper formating.

In order to change this we must go to the theme custimization page.

On the Home page. It is listed under **Slider**
Here you can upload images for both tabs.

### Shop by Categories

This section is reffering to the categories which are available to the left on the front page.


These categories can only be changed from the Navigation menu under **Vega-Menu**.


### Top Navigation Menu

This can be found under the **Main Menu** Navigation tab.

### Services

Services are a widget founder under the **Theme Custimization** button.

### Banner 2

These banners can be used as quick navigation to important section.
The proper size is 460x210px.


### Trending/ New Arrivals/ You may also like

All of these sections are considered as collections.

Items are added to these collections in order to be presented on the front page.

This area is called the **Product Tab Slider**
Collections can be changed and rearranged.

### Side banners

**customer-love** Is a place for reviews. It helps customers get an initial level of trust when seeing our site for the first time.

**on sale** this does not have to be on sale. We can put collections, recipes, and products here as we please. it can be changed from the theme customizations page

### On sale
This is a place to put current on sale and promotion items


They will be displayed with their price and marked down price letting customers know their savings. Sale items can be added here through individual sale products or a collection known as **On sale**

### New Recipes
New recipes will automaticall be places here. In additions, we may also feature recipes as we please. This can be edited from the **Home Blog** on **Theme Customization**.

## Recipes
Recipes are to be added using the **Blog**.
The blog is a feature native to shopify. It is a powerful platform for posting new and recurring content that can be digested to hopefully convert sells.

Into a **Blog Post** Add in the title and content.

To Create a recipe card. Go to the app **BentoSMB**

Go to the recipes tab. Then click create recipe.

Add in all relevent information.

Now When hovering over it will give a brief Description and the recipe name.

## Products

Products Can be managed from shopify's developer console. Adding products can be done individually or by adding them to a csv. file and uploading it.

### Collections
Collections are the most important product management tool. They let us arbitrarily group products so we may display them to customers in an organized way. Collections can be used for **Categories, Sale Products, Cuisine Sorting, Recipe Menus, and more!**

To create a new collection, go to the collection tab under products. Products can be added to the collection under the products themselves.

### Sales
There are two types of sales. Discounts and product sales.

Sales must manually be applied to products that we wish to apply them too.
There are two prices. The current price and the **Compare at price**. The compare at price is the original item price. This way people can see how much they are saving.

Discounts are codes that can be created from the discounts section. They can be applied at checkout for select items.


### Taxes

This can be configured on a product to product basis on the product page.
