<div style="text-align: justify;">"<em><strong>Annual Meeting of the Japan Society of Vacuum and Surface Science 2023</strong></em>" will be held during the period from <strong>October 31st (Tue.)</strong> to <strong>November 2nd (Thu.)</strong>, 2023, at <strong>Nagoya Congress Center</strong>. In the meeting, there are planned a variety of topics/sessions, including ones organized by the subcommittees. Your participation in and contribution to the meeting are highly encouraged and welcome.</div>
<p style="text-align:justify"><span style="color:#0000ff"><strong>NOTICE: In this meeting, the oral and poster presenters in "general sessions"</strong> are obligated to make the best efforts to prepare their presentation slides and posters in English, and may make the presentation in Japanese, but highly encouraged to do so in English. In the <!-- ----------------------------------------- --> sessions organized by the divisions<!-- ----------------------------------------- -->, there can be the cases in which the official language is English: </span></p>
<p><span style="color:#00f"><strong>一般セッションの口頭発表者およびポスター発表者</strong>は、発表スライドおよびポスターを出来るだけ英語で作成するようお願いします。また、<span style="color:#f00"><strong>日本語での発表は可能ですが、英語での発表が推奨</strong></span>されます。分科会主催のセッションでは、公用語が英語の場合もあります。</span></p>
