# How to Predict Flight Delays with Google Flights ?
**Flight Delays 1(888)-657–3644Google Flights**
Google’s flight booking product can now predict delayed flights even before your airline. How, you ask? Google Flights will use a smart combination of historical data and artificial intelligence to provide live updates. What’s more, you will also know why your flight is late: was the weather bad? Did you arrive late or did you just have good air traffic? Google Flights will have the answers ready. Fortunately, these notifications will appear only when Flights is at least 80% sure of its predictions.
The latest update also gives you a little more information about what you pay if you fly 'Basic Economy' on American Airlines, Delta, or United Airlines. Google Flights will show more information about what they include and exclude. (Basic Economy is a cheaper fare that offers most of the amenities of Standard Economy, but with some restrictions.) Therefore, you can check if the price you are paying to fly includes options such as seat selection, use of overhead space, or even a charge for additional baggage.
These new updates came shortly after the inclusion of price tracking offers and hotel search features in Google Flights. Only time will tell how effective and useful these updates will be. We hope we have no real use for them.
## Check your flight status and plan trips on your speaker or screen
Google Assistant makes it easy to find the travel information you need, from planning an upcoming trip to checking the status of your current reservations, on your Google Nest or Home speakers or displays.
**Step 1. Get started**
* Activate personal results to obtain information about existing flights. Note: You do not need to turn on personal results to search for new flights or track flight prices.
* Sign in to the same Google account that you linked to your speaker or display.
* Create a Gmail account if you don't already have one. Flight information is obtained from the Gmail account associated with the Google account used to configure the speaker or display.
