# System Support Engineer [**LiteSpeed Technologies**](https://www.litespeedtech.com/) is looking for **System Support Engineer** (Remote) ## 【 About us 】 LiteSpeed Technologies is a US-based software / internet company, dedicated to enabling a faster Internet and lowering infrastructure costs. Our core development team specializes in server software design, such as LiteSpeed Web Server, etc. ## 【 Job Responsibilities 】 We are looking for a System Support Engineer to help deliver best service to our rapidly expanding user base. In addition to the support duties, based on your interest and ability, you will have a few projects to manage through, e.g. Docker, Plugin development, etc. ### 【 Daily and Monthly Responsibilities 】 - Technical support LiteSpeed products, including remote troubleshooting in clients' environment via SSH, covering support issues, server installation, site optimization, improving page score and troubleshooting on demand. - Answering questions on [LiteSpeed Forums](https://www.litespeedtech.com/support/forum/) and some cache plugin, e.g. [WordPress Forum](https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/litespeed-cache/) - Technical support for [QUIC.cloud](https://quic.cloud/) online services - Maintenance and update of [knowledge base](https://docs.litespeedtech.com/ ) ## 【 Qualifications 】 - Familiar with Linux system and commands - Familiar with at least one web server, Apache or LiteSpeed - Familiar with Web Cache and know how to troubleshoot via browsers' developer tools - Comfortable with at least one programming language, Bash, PHP, or Python - Bachelor's degree in computer science ## 【 Other Requirements 】 - Knowledge of any system monitoring systems - Highly motivated with an owner’s mindset to take a project or a request from end to end - Professional, careful and respectful to clients’ assets ## 【 Contact 】 - eleu@litespeedtech.com
