# Module 14: Analysis of the Game I Play Now

I've played `The Walking Zombie 2` recently. I find out about this game accidently in **Google Play**. This game is a single-player π€ post-apocalyptic FPS with low poly graphics, RPG elements (How could we go without it? π ), a story, and tons of quests. You play as a male πΉ character and you can't impact his appearance π at all, that is, there's no customization on the protagonist himself. The game is available both on mobile π± and PC π₯οΈ systems, but it's rather oriented for mobile devices π².
## Story
The story starts with the protagonist's birth πΆπ». The beginning is quite intriguing and further the player will find out about his origin/family, his mother's and dad's past, and his assignment.
## Inventory Layout

There're 6 sections in the inventory layout:
1. Map πΊοΈ: it shows you the locations (Woodlands, Springfield, and so on) and quests too inside them;
2. Bag π: an inventory itself, where you can keep items and equip them.

3. Container ποΈ: the storage (it's like a chest in other games) that helps you to free up the bag.

4. Info βΉοΈ, Skills & Perks πͺπΌ:
- Info βΉοΈ: it's all about your stats (overall kills π, Max HP π, Damage π₯, Defense π‘οΈ, etc.)
- Skills πͺπΌ: by leveling up, as usual for RPG, you get some points. By means of these points, you can increase your stats, e.g. DMG π₯, or Crit. Chance π―.
- Perks π¦Ύ: it's more like abilities and they are very different (from the ability to comprehend animals to increasing the container capacity).
5. Quests π: a list of *Active* and *Done* quests.
6. Store: offers, deals - watching ads or making donations, or receiving daily prizes - everything in that spirit.
## In-game Currency
- πͺ Gold coins: can be obtained by watching ads, paying real money π³, or by donation advantages.
- π° Silver coins: can be obtained by watching ads, completing quests, selling items, or just by gold ones πͺ.
## Trading
Each safe zone always has at least one trader. You can buy, you can sell.

## Cosmetics
There, in the game, the player can purchase skins and apply them to guns and vehicles. Can be purchased only in gold πͺ.

## Upgrade System
In the game, you can upgrade your characteristics, learning skills (by skill points), and also upgrade your vehicles, and firearms (by coins).

## Traveling
To go from one place to another you need fuel. If it runs out you won't be able to play the game any further. It's like *energy* in other games. The gasoline can be replenished with time or you can watch ads to obtain canisters with fuel.
## Random encounters and the karma system
Your karma can be a negative value or positive; its value changes according to your deeds. So karma (either bad or good) impacts encounters that happened to you.
## Open World
The Open World location enables you to create your own town, upgrade buildings there, wandering throughout the places outside of your settlement for loot and fuel residuals needed for crafting canisters with gasoline. And many miscellaneous things related to `Open World` like trading, unlocking perks from an old man, etc.
## Quests
Every quest gives you XP; the majority even gives you money in addition. The quests often provide the player with different options: some of them may affect your [karma](#Random-encounters-and-the-karma-system) or request from you specific items, or even demand a sufficient level of your *Speech*.
