## Rickyday Travel Grants Brazil (1.2 ETH) + 4 Gnars (giveaway interviews).

Hey Gnars Fam, I'm RickyDay and going for a few trips around Brazil, and I wanna do representing Gnars. My office is the ocean, for real. I'm Professional Skipper/Captain and Surfer for Hobby.

For the Next 3 month I will go to different places in Brazil to travel for Skipper Jobs, seeking jobs, NFT events and, of course, will Surf at spare time.

## Who is Rickyday

I'm Surfer since I was 8y, the ocean always been my passion.
At the Business University I start producing surf event for students in São Paulo coast and for 8y I worked at surf industry and competing amateur surf championships.



At 24y I moved to Buzios - Rio de Janeiro, Start working in a Marina as General Manager, and discouver the Skipper life, so I can be most time at the ocean working with boat, all kinds.

Today, 32y, I work as a Skipper / Captain and start working as boat delivery and captain for charters and Offshore FIshing.

## Ok Ok, but what about GNARS?

I'm been in the community at Gnars and Nounsbr since July/22
Try to find my space and help the community the way I can. So I became an gnarly content creator, builder and marketing manager for my athletes with their proposals and helping the community to grow with partnership and marketing.

Until today, I always helped athletes to get sponsored for what they do, and web3/Nouns world already provided opportunities for my athletes as [Nico Karolla](https://www.instagram.com/p/Cu5hy9LLfII/) (Gnars athlete) and [Sunny Pires](https://www.instagram.com/p/CtP19u4pWrc/) (sponsored by Nouns small grants).



In March/23 I went to Bali - Indonesia for Holiday for 30 days and Gnars sponsored me with 0.43 ETH for content expenses to produce content and make partnership on the Island.

## PROPOSAL

August to November I will travel to different places in Brazil for sailing jobs, seeking jobs opportunities and Surfing. I would love doing that representing Gnars.

### Trip Descriptions
##### Balneário Piçarras
August

* 24 august to sept 4 I'll visit Nico Karolla in South Brazil (Balneário Piçarras), the Jetski Rescuer sponsored by Gnars and my shreder. He will Recieve student from Patagônia to teach Rescue and advanced jetski skills. I will be in the trainning too.
* Will help him onboard the school staff to gnars community and see with the school's owner if we can do a partnership discount for jetski class with Nico for Gnars holders.
* Plus, his class for Patagônia crew it will be recorded by professional filmakers, They will make 6 episodes for Web-Series (trying to put on TV Channel).
* Interview with Nico (how Gnars Change his life, what you think about the community and stuff like that)

#### Búzios / Rio de Janeiro / Fernando de Noronha (still to confirm)

#### sept 7
* is Holiday in Brazil and I will work as Skipper in Charter back Home (Búzios), will produce content of surfing and motorboat content. When working the flag will be hanged and the curiosity of costumers will appear, I will try to onboard them in all charters.
#### sept 11 to 14
* Blockchain Rio - The Main Idea here is to represent Gnars and onboard new People to the community. I will make Interviews with random people asking about gnars, and will choose a answer, if right answered it will gain a Gnars to be part of the community.
#### Sept 17 to 28
* (still to confirm) I'll deliver a Catamaran Sailboat from Salvador to Fernando de Noronha (Island 300 NM from shore), the Boat will participate at the Biggest Regata of Latin America, Recife to Noronha. More than 100 Boats participate and I will be there representing Gnars.
* If Noronha doesnt happen I will be in Rio for 1 weeks after Blockchain Rio to teach Sailing classes for Navy test, and will produce a lot of sailing and surf content.

#### Juquehy

#### October 21 to 28
* Will be for a week in São Paulo Coast doing some nautical networking, Lot of Beaches around with perfect waves, will make a lot of surf content.

#### Paraty

#### November 15 to 25
* Will be in Paraty with excepexceptional nautical culture, a Paradise between Rio and São Paulo Coast, want to make content for gnars sailing, diving and snorkling around, will be there to visit some marinas doing networking with other captains.

#### Branding

For me, one the most important part is to show the noogles on videos, not just make video and tag, All videos I will show and get the gnarly noggle to be showed explicity on videos (as you can see my branding work in [Bali Material](https://thatsgnar.ly/thatsgnarly/creations/uluwatu-bali)), With Tshirt, with gnarggles on face, with hats, stickers, anything will be there.

The Strategic behind is: people will see and already saw the noggles in my Bali material and again will be showed, with that came the curiosity for looking for the "brand" that is always with me, "what is that square glasses that is sponsoring him?"

Awereness came first with curiosity, only than, we start the onboarding.

#### When there is no Events.

- 1 post/ week in all medias
- IG Story tagging gnars when feels right
- Will create content when doing mantainence, working on charters,and if I get some other delivery job on the way.

### Grants 1.2 ETH +4 Gnars

The Grants will be dedicated for all expenses with all trips, Plane/bus tickets, food, paying filmakers for surfing, physical material, and anything that appears on the way.

0.45 Other travel expenses (food / homestay)
0.15 time editting / building / looking for partnership (Rickyday)
0.1 Renual physical material, flag, Uv shirts, stickers.

#### Produce Income for gnars.
All thatsgnarly post that becames a drop I will split 80%DAO 20% Rickyday.
