### Installation Instructions and Suggested Prerequisites
Most sessions will have installation instructions. Please take time to set up your computer before a session begins. Teaching in a virtual format will be slower than in-person; so we won’t be able to take time to install everything as a session begins. There are helpers who in each session for any computer support needed - reach out on the Slack (see below) for help before the session. Prerequisites and installation instructions can be found on the [hackmd](http://bit.ly/ResBazHackMD) (see below).
### Where to Begin
You can see all workshop prerequisites, descriptions, and workshop "pre-work" on [the central HackMD](http://bit.ly/ResBazHackMD) at http://bit.ly/ResBazHackMD. This central location is also where you can see the schedule, which room the session will be occurring in, and find more resources. You'll refer to this link often, so keep it handy. On the individual pages for each workshop, you will find the pre-work needed, where to sign in for the workshop, and ask questions. To edit the document, You'll need to create an account and sign in to HackMD. HackMD used markdown, a plain-text markup language. When editing, you may want to click the question mark in the top toolbar to understand what the symbols do. [Here is a cheatsheet](https://www.markdownguide.org/cheat-sheet/) to markdown if you want one.
### Communication, Finding Help, and Welcome to the community
You will receive an invitation to join the Research Bazaar Tucson Slack community in a separate email. If you've never used slack before, it's a great place to communicate in forums (channels) and in smaller group messages in a community. You will be invited directly to a channel (#resbazaz2021) where you are encouraged to join the community, meet others, ask questions about workshops and technical topics, and join the community. There will be organizers, instructors and helpers in the channel too to address any questions that arise!
We're excited to have you join our community. We'd like to thank you our panelists, instructors, helpers, and organizers, all of whom volunteered their time to make this event special.
If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to us at [resbazaz@gmail.com](resbazaz@gmail.com)
