# Blockchain Research and Technical Content Intern ## Job Description You will work on blockchain projects assigned by the founder (Jeffrey Scholz). Your job is to help us publish tutorials on blockchain topics faster, and publish solidity tutorials and exercises faster. We focus on underdocumented and advanced topics, so you need to be okay with trial and error programming. Copying and pasting from stackoverflow won’t cut it, because we focus on topics that don't have good resources. You can think of this job as being a lab assistant in a research firm. You will be given the topics and code to work on and some help with debugging, but you will need to spend a lot of time figuring things out on your own. Expected duration is 3 months, but if the engagement goes well, you can stay longer. We are 100% remote. As long as you get your work done and can attend a daily standup for 15 minutes, you set your schedule. ## Responsibilities - Write open and close source software in Solidity. See our [github](https://github.com/rareSkills) to get an idea. - Contribute to our [blog](https://www.rareskills.io/blog). - Run experiments and create proof of concepts on blockchain topics that are not well documented (we will guide you through this). ## Requirements ### Required - You must be proficient in Solidity. You must score a minimum of 50% on our Solidity test and have taken our advanced solidity Udemy courses. (We will help you with this) - You must be passionate about blockchain programming - You must be able to commit at least 20 hours of work per week ### Nice, but not necessary - Experience with Rust - Ability to code simple frontend websites in React Js ## Compensation First month (trial period) we will pay a stipend of $1000 in USDC.
