Almost everything happens via email and keeping track of your records has become a vital part for efficiency and control. [This Link](https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/use-inbox-rules-in-outlook-com-4b094371-a5d7-49bd-8b1b-4e4896a7cc5d) helps show the procedure to add the web filters. It is also demonstrated via [this video](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5DAZ4MQu_nY&ab_channel=IntellezyLearning). You can use this whole system for spam filteration as well, and not just keeping your files arranged. Which provides: 1. Security 2. Spam Filteration 3. As discussed in classes earlier as well, it is important not falling into a rabbit hole while doing internet research, and skimming has become a large role for only verification, and not falsification. This has caused these bubbles to [distort reality](https://fs.blog/2017/07/filter-bubbles/). We have become blinded by web ads and emails, that we dont really get a chance to view it properly. We can address that by creating web filters, as shown in this webpage, to shortlist the articles and emails we like, or for other functions so that you can help categorize your topics and go through it later when you have time. ## Settings By following a quick procedure regarding this email filtering, settings can be applied very easily. By clicking the gear icon in the [outlook web app](https://outlook.office365.com/mail/inbox), we can go to the rules section which exists. We can add new rules, toggle it and edit it from here. The same can be done with several other mail apps such as [Mail(Apple)](https://support.apple.com/guide/mail/use-rules-to-manage-emails-you-receive-mlhlp1017/mac), [Gmail](https://support.google.com/mail/answer/6579?hl=en) and [Yahoo](https://help.yahoo.com/kb/groups/filters-organize-yahoo-mail-sln28071.html).
