## :memo: what are Triumph Sub-species?

A new way to spend hard earned triumphs. Triumph Sub-species will be a long term investment goal for people who want something *unique* and expensive

Triumph Sub-species will be a new type of triumph buy that, once bought last the entirety of the current triumph season, before a triumph reset wipes it all once again.
Triumph Sub-species focus less on being better or worse compared to the original species, and more on being fun, unique and cool to play around with and as such pros and cons of the original species will often be switched around for the new Sub-species to play around with power budget! :+1:

In this case, the Jarosite dwarves will lose their poison resistance and +1 mining in return for the unique benefits!

## :books: What are Jarosite dwarves?

The Jarosite dwarves are a colony/community/settlement of Unknowingly pestran worshipping acid cultists, they partake in sacrificial rituals, self scarring and intense body modding via Chimeric organs
## :pencil2: What are their unique gameplay gimmicks?

The Jarosite dwarf differs heavily from a normal one in Four major ways.

1. Instead of the poison resistance they will have acid **immunity**, we played around with the idea of acid resistance but found it too much work for ultimately a tile type that doesn't show up much at all (They will also have unique sound feedback when standing in acid!)
2. The Jarosite dwarves will not have Pestra as a patron due to lore reasons, instead she will be replaced with the Devouring acid wurm god, this will impact them in two big ways continued bellow
3. If a Jarosite dwarf has picked The wurm as their patron, they will start the round with two random (awakened) chimeric organs, weighted towards being positive rather then negative but certainly not by much. Non Wurm patron Jarosite Dwarves will not get this benefit.
4. Wurm patron Jarosite dwarves will NOT be able to play towner and towner adjacent roles, opting to esentially act as mini villains for the round while playing foreign roles. Wurm patron Jarosite dwarves will also spawn in a special Acid bath/spa lair that anybody can enter as long as they find it.
