We are thrilled to be past the launch of Polymon and are finally ready to get down to business and implement our vision. We have been evaluating the market and hearing feedback from the community/early-backers and are now ready to share our vision and plans for the [**Polymon Project**](https://polymon.finance/). ## **The Future of DeFi is Non-Fungible** - The current NFT boom has to be interpreted as the market discovering the power of a decentralized OTC marketplace. At the end of the day, platforms like [**Opensea**](https://opensea.io/) are OTC trading desks where users can offer their goods, without the need for liquidity, to anyone in the world. - AMM based DEXes will pay a critical role in providing efficiency to this growing market. We want to position Polymon as the liquidity incentivization platform for NFT-based solutions across many exchanges. We will work with the Polygon team to bridge more NFT-related tokens to the Polygon network and incentivize their liquidity to showcase opportunities for the community to invest in. - The full PYM supply will soon be convertible into NFTs. We will reveal our **Polymonsters**, generated with NERD AI technology, on **Friday the 13th of August** 👹👹👹. Polymonsters will be obtainable only with PYM. This will provide a deflationary pressure to PYM by taking PYM off the market. The NFTs will act as governance tokens for the protocol and can also be staked for PYM rewards. More details regarding the Polymonster Program will be announced in short order. - We will introduce a 5% fee to convert Polymonsters back into PYM which will permanently reduce the PYM supply. This fee will be able to be rased or lowered by a NFT holder vote - Polymon will focus on NFT-based projects in our first round of product development. This week we will offer a Polymon Incubator form to submit your projects for deployment. We are capable of implementing the smart contract and deployment for your project, provide counsel, and share it with the Nerd Community. ## **Closing Remarks** Polymon is very much a community project.
