# Reading Group Procedures One of the fundamental roles of a research department is to be a repository of knowledge. In order to be such a repository for crypto knowlege, we must follow the space better. As such, the reading group presents a very good opportunity for us all to learn more. Furthermore, we can collect information into a formal repository for us to refer to in the future. ## Procedure * **Prepare materials** one week in advance and add them to [the Reading Group HackMD](https://hackmd.io/@acullen-if/Hy8TlDwgi/edit) using the template provided (or some similar format). * **Give a presentation** on the topic on Tuesday. *The presenter should start the recording of the presentation*. * **Move the slides and the recording** to [the Reading Materials folder](https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1AiXKmRp96m-lmuX-rvyuaelW9cl9mxRG?usp=sharing) so everyone can access it, then add the links to the individual files in your section of [the Reading Group HackMD](https://hackmd.io/@acullen-if/Hy8TlDwgi/edit). * **Host a follow up** discussion on the following Tuesday * This discussion will only be for "relevant people". For example, the incentive group would participate on the follow up on PoS systems * This discussion would cover questions that folks have on the topic. Also it may involve a followup lecture from the group involved.
