# Product Pitch: 99 creators take over the DIFY products
Off the back of the discovery that the relationship between Design Services infrastructure and services and Design Services products is one to many, we have the opportunity to reevaluate our integration strategy.
Since we are taking ownership of only a smaller subset of products, we can make a case for taking ownership of NONE of the existing infrastructure and instead circumventing what is currently in place for only those Design Services that are DIFY orders.
Design Services becomes DIWH Services, and 99designs owns the DIFY Service.
- highlight over
## What are the DIFY services?
Just as a quick recap:
Standard*
Logo design*
DesignLive*
Template edits
Something to call out: collaboration in DS is two separate experiences:
- communication via email/sync call
- design review tools
On 99 both aspects of collaboration form one seamless experience
### Why should we do this?
99 creators taking on the DIFY work is a net gain for Vista **clients** because:
- Our briefs are a much better experience (improve completion)
- Our collaboration experience is better (improve retention)
- Better quality matching for more successful; empowering clients to make stylistically aligned choices instead of randomly assigning, plus the promise of an ever evolving matching experience
This is a win from an **engineering** perpsective because the path forward because simpler (using our existing infra/services/tooling), and enables us to bypass considerable pieces outlined in prev tech strategies proposed.
It is also a win from a **product** perspective because we will be able to deliver meaningful change more rapidly, and we are not required to take on the considerable context of the rest of Design Services.
We are in a good position to argue this case, because Project Tap Water has already demonstrated the potential for end to end product fulfilment between vista and 99. The alternative would involve taking on _too much_ is a huge risk for us and will take much longer to provide value.
## What are the hard sells here?
**What's happening to the landing page?**
**Giving 99 creators responsibility for what was previously CARE work**
Can we meet their needs with the creators we have - question for Tara? Answer is undoubtably yes. Is M.P. ready to support this traffic? Need to look in Bron/Aleks asap.
M.P. general availability?
**Feature parity for DIFY products?**
99's support for the sync experience does not extent to include the current Vista ***scheduled*** call. However, we do still support sync collaboration in the Projects workspace. 99 Creators already regularly schedule calls (zoom or phone) with clients. Bringing the collaboration experience onto 99 gives the creator and client more flexibility around how they want to collaborate synchronously because
- they have access to real time messaging
- they can choose to schedule a call if they wish
- they can choose the tools that suit them (zoom vs phone call)
If we needed to expand on the sync collaboration experience in future we have opportunities including
- expanding Matched Projects to include a "callback window" option for jobs
- light touch options like notifications and contextual suggestions like "want to schedule a call?"
- calendar integrations
- replicating the call scheduling service currently in place
**What about the other D.S. services?**
This strategy and split does not preclude the possibility of 99 owning other aspects of Design Services in future, and integrating them into 99 ownership following _different_ a strategy.
What happens to Template Edits? We don't have to make a call on it right now
**UX Experience**
Missing UI piece that explains the transition to 99 until Cross domain UI is solved.
Seems like delivery systems is already working on it?
We have multiple options for quick wins or bigger builds depending on what is an acceptable UX from a product perspective, and we can iterate through these. (Chris specced this out already)
