# PvP & How To:
Working as PvP Support in Icecrown for over a month brought to my attention that the section needs a lot of improvements & better handling. I had some thoughts over the past weeks which made me feel sharing those.

## Rated Battlegrounds
### Teams & Availability
- Quantity & Teams
- We are not aware of how many teams we have and they aren't shown anywhere. We have only the rank`RBG Booster` which often leads into customers thinking they are getting boosted by a pug goup of people.
Solution: `RBG Representative` or `RBG Leader` ranks where one person can be in charge of scheduling & contacting.
- Booking & Providing the service.
- Often customers ask: *"when my boost will be completed."* We are not aware of when these teams are available neither we have their schedule anywhere. We end up saying to them X to Y days. It would be nice to have their schedule somewhere so we can be more accurate or book customers for them.
Solution: Contacting every team, asking for their schedule and implement that into a sheet. They also have to work with us and update that based on their schedule & customers.
### Groups Pugging
- Pugging
- Customers reported some cases where they found themselves in LFG searching for people in order to get boosted. Their service was provided but the quality is what matters here. They are paying to play & get boosted by a proffesional team and not by 3-4 friends combined with LFG.
Solution Contact every `RBG Booster` & gather information of whom they play with and who is their "Leader." Note them down and those who do not belong to a team shouldn't be having the role. We use the same system when it comes with `Mythic+ Teams` and we should follow that pattern as well in PvP.
## 2v2
### Booster's Roles
- Rating Roles
- The rating gap of customers we have varies. Customers are often looking for simple rating boosts were lower `Arena Rating` players can provide that, while we have demanding boosts were not everyone can provide. That being said we end up with high waiting time for customers were we could recruit a bit lower `Arena Rating` boosters and feed them with less demanding boost. We are using the same system to our Mythic+ section which it would be nice to also impement here.
Solution: Have ranking system based on their experience and provide boosts according that.
Solution^2^: Accept lower rating boosters based on the table below.
- Example of roles
| Boost Type | Requirement |Name Of roles |
| ----------- |:------------- |:------------ |
| 0-1600 | 2500 |**Challenger** Booster|
| 0-1800 | 2700 |**Rival** Booster |
| 2100+ | 3000 |**Elite** Booster |
## 3v3
- Booster's Roles
- There are no roles or any teams that can boost as group. We as support end up giving these boosts to people that they bring their "Friends" in order to complete the boost. Their "Friends" in most cases are not part of our community and people we haven't worked with. Customers are also questioning and being worried if they are going to get boosted by a team or end up pugging the 2nd person.
Solution: Team roles as already explained on the table above and also match with our Mythic+ System. _(Boosting based on experience)_
## PvP Pricing
- Handling & Faster Response
- Prices are changing often but we always end up changing ours really late. We need to be more reliable and responsive with other competitors.
Solution: Dedicated person or PvP Manager who is responsible of keeping up with the rest.
## PvP Discounts & Promoting
- Discounts & Deals
- PvP is a service where it has a limit. After you reach the aim for your main character there isn't much you can do more and there is no need in purchasing more services. A discount or a hot-deal might attract customers purchasing a service for their alt characters in order to gear them as PvP is another way and more easier than Mythic+ of gearing alts nowadays.
Solution: Hot deals & Discounts as it already applies to Mythic+
- Giveaways
- Giveaway is a way of promoting our Discord. That giveaway can also get them involved with PvP section and attract them into purchasing higher ranking services later after they realise how much gear they can obtain through PvP.
Solution: Giveaways of simple & small guranteed ranking services.
- Example of Giveaways:
- `600k` worth of PvP Service.
- `Coaching` or `hire a booster` Service.
- `RBG` Games.
- Weekly `conquest cap.`
- Promoting
- Promoting a product that rewards un-obtainable things (Transmog, titles, mounts etc..) is always good in this game and people are seeking for those.
Solution: Featured channel with images and written in details what you can be rewarded by PvP.
$$Season \ 1 \ Gladiator \ Cloth \ Armor \ Set$$

$$Season \ 1 \ Elite \ Cloth \ Armor \ Set$$

$$and \ much \ more...$$

# PvP support System
### PvP Support & Customer Assistance
- `PvP Support` Role
- There is an issue that occurs often where 2 or more `PvP Support` is jumping on eachother's tickets for no reason or the opposite where in case of somebody being AFK customer isn't getting any reply after some time.
- Another issue is that tickets that don't have juicy pots or require a bit more assistance aren't being picked up due of the ticket requiring more effort by the assistant.
- Lastly it came up to my attention that `PvP support` isn't always explaining in details and informing the customer correct. Typing simple sentences without explanation or providing details doesn't really show interest to them but directly to their pockets instead. Customer must come first, then his gold.
Solutions:
Claiming tickets instead of being Open for all. This will adress the issue of 2 or more people jumping inside each other's tickets and make us look "hungry" to the customers. That leave us open with the AFK subject. The solution to that would be 2 dedicated people having access to all tickets as extra support when needed.
Pre-typed & Ready Text based on common questions (QnA).
- Boosters in Tickets
- Boosters are also jumping mid-conversation with customers. In my point of view this shouldn't be happening as customers are asking questions and negotiating with `PvP Support`. There are examples of `Boosters` jumping and saying "I can do this now, let's go let's go now" while customer haven't even been informed for the service they purchase or paid even. Snipping is also another factor booster's shouldn't be there at the first place.
Solution: We can manually add `Horde PvP` or `Alliance PvP` once the process of Explaining>Negotiating>Booking has been completed.
# Conclusion
We have some really nice & fair systems when it comes to other services we provide but not in PvP. If we succeed moving on and incorporating these i have strong feelings that it will increase our quality of service, grow more on that section and be well known among others for what we provide, quality over sloppiness 🌼❤️
