# EoH Rules & How to Verify

## Disclaimer

Staff reserve the right to kick, ban, or to put members on timeout, as well as to remove content or to end any discussion. If you believe that this is done unjustly, please submit an appeal to a staff member. Anything outside of this server can reflect back upon you, and any actions infringing upon our rules can be dealt with by server staff even if said actions took place outside this server. Staff members are not responsible for making sure that you understand the rules and announcements. Ignorance and confusion are not valid excuses. If you are unsure about the rules, contact a staff member for clarification.

## Safe Word

We follow a server-wide safeword. Outside safewords are welcome, but the server safeword is “red”. Every member is expected to follow this, as well as any safewords they may have with individual subjects. If used, immediately stop what you are doing. Verify that you understand why the safeword was said, and ensure that the person who used it is all right. It may be best to step back, or leave the situation.

## Rules:

1. In addition to the server rules, all members are expected to adhere to the Discord ToS.

1. Regardless of your age, the age of any alters/tulpas/fragments/etc, or any underlying conditions (ie; mental illness or disabilities), you are expected to conduct yourself in a mature and respectful manner.

1. Verification can be asked for at any time as well if a member is suspected of being under or over the age that they claim. If members are suspected of being under the age of 16, they may be asked for verification. Users are to comply with a request from any staff member. Failure to do so will result in removal.

1. Consent must be given for all sessions. You must obtain consent on a session by session basis. Receiving consent once does not give you blanket permission for future sessions, so be sure to check in with your partner prior to each occasion.

1. Drama, gossip, slander, and harassment are not welcome. Keep personal issues out of the server. #support-rant is available if you need to vent. You may also request to speak privately with a staff member if you feel uncomfortable venting in the public eye.

1. No promotion of servers, groups, files, or services without permission from the staff team.

1. No blocking of staff members. We understand disagreements happen, but users must be able to see the posts of all staff members at all times. Exceptions may be made on a case by case basis by the staff team.

1. Please keep chat appropriate for the channel you are in. Hypno is to be kept to the hypno chats. This includes hypnotic triggers, suggestions, and hypnotic language. [The server password is the 🍀 emoji. Use the correct reaction to the pinned message in #welcome to gain access to the next area of the server]

1. Follow DM roles. Warnings will be given out for any violations. If multiple reports are received, you may be removed.

1. Keep requests for sessions or DMs to the #request-room. This room is designed to keep other chats free of clutter. You are expected to follow the guidelines listed in the channel topic.

1. Keep NSFW content to the NSFW rooms. Minors are not to be involved in NSFW sessions or discussions.

1. We understand that NSFW is a subjective term, and can change from person to person. What we consider NSFW in our server is anything that is:
* Explicitly sexual
* Overtly offensive
* Violent
* Disturbing

1. All members must have at least one role from the “hypnosis” or “kink” category. The “Curious” role is available for those who are new to the community, or who don’t feel that any of the other roles fit them.

1. Gore, racist speech, and pedophilia are NEVER allowed on the server or in DMs.

1. Taking screenshots of video call participants without the explicit permission of everyone in the call is not allowed. Doing so will result in a warning or ban, depending on the severity of the situation.

***If you feel as though the staff team is unaware of an issue, feel free to bring it to our attention. This includes instances that take place via DMs, or in VC.***

***All cases are subject to review by staff.***

## Age Verification

We offer several age roles to help keep the server safe.

The “Under 18” role is for those who are under the age of 18 (aged 16 to 17). Once you turn 18, you have the options of remaining unverified, or verifying with a staff member to receive access to the NSFW portions of the server.

The “18+ Unverified” role is for those that don't wish to ID verify. This role is given to all members who list themselves as above the age of 18 in their intros without providing verification to staff members. The “18+ Unverified” role does NOT have access to the NSFW portions of the server.

The “18+ Verified” role grants members over the age of 18 access to the NSFW parts of the server. To be given the “18+ Verified” role, you must follow a few simple steps:

* Take a photo of any government issued ID (such as a passport, divers license, or state ID card) Please cover all information except for your picture and date of birth.
* DM this picture to a staff member along with a picture of yourself so we can make sure you match the ID you provided us
* Once approved, the staff member will assign you the “18+ Verified” role, which will grant you access to both the SFW and NSFW areas of the server
* After you receive conformation that your verification has been accepted, you are encouraged to delete the photos out of your DMs

In rare instances, users under the age of 18 may be asked to provide proof of age. If this is the case, a staff member will contact you with instructions on how to do this. The staff team reserves the right to request proof of age at any time. **Failure to comply will result in removal.**
