Install PIF using the Lightweight Installer

We DO NOT have a website! If you got files or this guide from a site claiming to be official, especially pokemoninfinitefusion (dot) net, please delete anything you downloaded and go to the discord (Linked below)! – They are fake.

Note:

This guide is only intended for Windows 10/11 Home edition. Most Windows Pro users will be incompatible. For all other devices/platforms, please go to their respective installation guides linked in the Discord Server (Linked above).

OPERA USERS:

For some reason, Opera Browser on certain devices does not work! If the link opens up an ad or an empty tab but does not start downloading, use a different browser!

REMEMBER:

It is recommended to download and keep the files in: C:\Users\your name\Downloads!
OneDrive will break the game, installer, and saves. It doesn’t sync in the Downloads folder.

Step 1: Download the Installer

• Download the Lightweight Installer: Link
  • Make sure to leave this in your Downloads folder. Not desktop or documents cause Onedrive will break it
  • If you're having issues with the mediafire link, use this Google Drive Link: Link
    • If the backup goes down, we can’t do anything about it. Google is very strict.

Step 2: Extract the .zip

• Right click InfiniteFusion.zip and click Extract All
  

  • If you don’t see .zip, that just means you have an option turned off on your computer. Use the screenshot below to enable it.
    

• After you click Extract All, make sure it says \InfiniteFusion at the end of it then click Extract.
  

Step 3: Open the folder

• After extracting, open the FOLDER, not the zip, named InfiniteFusion
  • The folder MUST BE named "InfiniteFusion" for it to run.
    

Step 4: Run the installer

• You will see 2 files. Double click INSTALL_OR_UPDATE.bat.
  

  • If you get this Message below, click More Info. Then the button “Run Anyways”
    

Step 5: WAIT!

• Installation will open in a command prompt
  

• The 30% above you see is the % completed. Wait for this to finish.

  • Patience is key on this step! The amount of time this takes is dependant on your wifi! Grab some tea, make a sandwich, and be patient while it installs!

Step 6: READ!

• Once it finishes, you will see the following below:
  1. Red Line: This means it worked!
  2. Blue Line: The text underlined in blue will not match the screenshot, but as long as you see the red lined text you are good.
     
  • If you don’t get the red line, send a screenshot to #tech-support of the window or read the section below for the most common error.

Step 7: Play!

• As long as everything looked good in Step 6, you can press any key or close the installer. All of the game files will now be in the folder. Open Game.exe to play!

How to update

WARNING:

If you are on a version older than 6.4.3, you NEED to reinstall from step 1. Old versions cannot update to the newest version. You can check your current version number on the title screen after launching the game.

• When a new version comes out and you need to update, all you need to do is double click the INSTALL_OR_UPDATE.bat file that we used in Step 4 of this guide!

Common Problems

Disconnect Error

• The above means YOUR connection to the game server was disconnected.
  Only thing you can do is try again, reset your modem, or use our new Launcher. It comes with the Full Game and All Sprites in the zip: Launcher Guide
