# How to Import Monthly Sprite Packs

ANDROID USERS: DO NOT download and import the full sprite pack if you are on an Android device. Phones are not meant to handle this many files and it will likely not work or crash your device!

THE GAME AUTOMATICALLY DOWNLOADS ALL AVAILABLE SPRITES. YOU DO NOT NEED TO DO THIS.
Sprite packs should ***only*** be used if you are strictly playing offline or you have been recommended to download the packs from one of our Tech Support Team. ***Do not use otherwise.***

## Importing the sprites
### Step 1: Download the Sprite Pack
- The monthly pack will always be in the #announcements channel in the Official Discord Server.

### Step 2: Open the CustomBattlers folder.
- In the sprite pack folder, navigate to the `CustomBattlers` folder.
- This folder only contains fusions, it does not include base sprites.

### Step 3: Copy the fusion sprites
- Click on one sprite and press `Control + A` to select All, then `Control + C` to copy.
### Step 4: Paste the sprites into the Sprite to Import Folder
- Navigate to `Graphics/CustomBattlers/Sprites to Import` and press `Control + V` to to paste.
### Step 5: Open the BaseSprites folder
- Go back to the sprite pack folder and navigate to `Other/BaseSprites`
- This folder only contains base sprites, it does not include fusions.
### Step 6: Copy the base sprites
- Click on one sprite and press `Control + A` to select All, then `Control + C` to copy.
### Step 7: Paste the base sprites into the Sprite to Import folder
- Navigate to `Graphics/CustomBattlers/Sprites to Import` and press `Control + V` to to paste.
### Step 8: Startup the game
- Once you start up the game, it will notify you that sprites have been imported. This means that you did everything correctly and the sprites should be imported.

If you do not get a prompt saying that new sprites were imported, you did something wrong. Please retrace your steps and ensure that you imported the sprites into the correct spot.

## Additional Info
### The "Other" Folder
- This folder in the Sprite Pack contains additional sprites and triple fusion sprites that do not need to be imported. The only sprites from this folder that are needed to be imported are the base sprites (Steps 5-7).

If you want to change the sprites for Triple Fusions, you ***cannot*** just import the sprite and expect it to work. Triple fusions are not meant to have alt sprites in game. You ***must*** replace the existing sprite in the files. For more information, go to `#ask-a-bot` in the Discord Server and type `?tag triplealt`.
