### Twitter
- **Category:** Social Networking/Photos and Videos.
- **Mobile:** Uses camera and location features.
- **Story:** Users are constantly connected to what's currently happening in the world and in their own communities.
- **Market:** The audience for Twitter can be anyone that wants to express their opinion on current matters or be nore informed on that subject. The connections you form on the platform can provide a lot of value in connecting you with niche groups.
- **Habit:** A regular user would open the app multiple times in a day to access their timeline and see what's currently happening.
- **Scope:** Twitter started as a service that would let you post simple 140 character messages and has expanded to include direct messaging , news stories and trending events.
### Spotify
- **Category:** Music/ Entertainment
- **Mobile:** The 'download onto device' feature is a mobile specific feature.
- **Story:** Users can stream a wide variety of music and podcasts, create and share playlists with friends. Each song has a scannable code which takes you to a music player for the song.
- **Habit:** A regular user would use the app regularly, by interacting with the Search feature as well as toggle features such as Play/Pause, Skip, and volume changing. The average user is a consumer, with some users posting their creations such as music and podcasts.
- **Market:** The app caters to anyone who likes music and/or podcasts. It also caters to niches in which people share music tastes.
- **Scope:** Overtime the app has expanded by adding features such as collaborative playlists and Spotify Codes allowing friends to share music.
### Netflix
- **Category:** Entertainment
- **Mobile:** The 'download' feature is a mobile specific feature.
- **Story:** Users can stream a vast library of high quality TV shows and movies.
- **Market:** The app caters to anyone who likes TV shows or movies.
- **Habit:** Most users use the app in alloted amounts of time, usually the length of a movie or TV show episodes. Netflix created binging
- **Scope:** Netflix went from being a service that delivered physical movies to being a place where users can view movies/TV shows anywhere. The app has even introduced interactive movies.

1. Political event app:
- Allows people to view upcoming political events in their area such as town halls, district elections, etc. It's purpose is to organize all of the local events to improve engagement in local politics.
2. Group Status app:
- Users can create groups with friends/family members, in these groups they can choose to display a status that indicates what they're currently doing at that time(watching movies, listening to music, working). Additionally the group has a schedule in which time slots can be created for online group activities(watch movies, video conferences).
3. Black Business/ Creative space app:
- Provides an informative and safe space for black businesses and creatives to broadcasts themselves to their local communities at a time where unity within the minority community is surging.
4. Who's Watching What:
- Users can see what their friends are watching on streaming services such as Netflix and Hulu. This is more personal than the ratings sections on large apps, because it reflects what your peers are watching. There is a 'Spoilers' section in which users can discuss TV shows/ movies once they've watched them. Users can also use the space to organize watch parties.
5. College Business App
- Users can log in via there University email, and market their services to fellow college students. e.g. Barbers, Tutors, Screen Repairs, Photographers etc. Services would be categorized and users can rate their experiences.
6. Group Itineraries:
- Allows users to create/join groups in order to organize the itineraries for events inside the group. Users can join specific events made in the group and then the itinerary for the events are displayed in a calendar.
7. Travel Options Application
- Users will input their starting location, destination location, and date of travel. The app will list off options of travel, comparing prices and time of travel. e.g. Bus: 14 hours Plane: 1.5 hours [with suggested airlines] Car: 10 hours [with suggested route]
8. Comic Book Sharing:
- Allows users to share comic books with each other. Comic books are quite hard to come by (at least specific issues) so users can connect to share their collections and introduce each other to new heros or storylines.
