# Week 19 Update: Odinson Haven't had much work done this past week, as the Lighthouse team and my mentors have been pretty busy shipping Fusaka. But I explored some other parts of the consensus, looked at some interesting things happening in the ecosystem and caught up with it Came across [ERC 8004](https://eips.ethereum.org/EIPS/eip-8004), came across the tweet from [Toni Wahrstätter](https://x.com/nero_eth/status/1981693626687373316) that Besu and Nethermind have achieved interoperability, which will eventually close in on parallel validation. And saw an issue in the Lighthouse repo, where, during custody backfill sync, the estimated time was shown incorrectly, so worked on it and the [PR](https://github.com/sigp/lighthouse/pull/8291) has been approved by dapplion. ## Work for the week The state of the work is still where it was last week. No further reviews or comments yet. But Michael pointed out one important fact, that is, the Holesky testnet will be killed by the end of this month (RIP Holesky), so during that, all the people running Holesky will be switching off their nodes, and that will trigget non finality, and a lot of chaos. That will be a good time for me to test out my work as well and see if the things are working well or not. Apart from that, he did mention to add more grafana charts for the metrics so that it is easy for the team to take a look at, while reviewing the work finally. ## Resources 1. Project [PR](https://github.com/sigp/lighthouse/pull/7803) 2. [ERC 8004](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XBvBEHPqGhM) 3. [Block-level Access Lists](https://ethresear.ch/t/block-level-access-lists-bals/22331) 4. Correct estimated time for custody backfill sync [PR](https://github.com/sigp/lighthouse/pull/8291) ## Conclusion As the cohort is on the closing stages, with only a few weeks to go, really looking forward to getting my work merged, and tested so that I can move to other major works. And also meanwhile, staying up-to-date with the updates in the ecosystem and upskilling myself in Rust!
