Aug 30, 2022OccamX Disclaimer and Website Use Terms The OccamX protocol is a decentralized peer-to-peer computer service protocol that users can access to provide digital asset liquidity, trade Cardano tokens or tokens of other blockchains with other users, and perform other tasks. The Protocol is a software including a set of immutable and autonomous smart contracts deployed on the Cardano blockchain. Your use of the OccamX Protocol involves various significant risks, including, but not limited to, financial loss while digital assets are being supplied to the Protocol and financial loss due to the fluctuation of prices of tokens in a trading pair or liquidity pool. Before using the OccamX Protocol, you should closely review the relevant documentation to make sure that you understand how the Protocol works and the risks of your use of the Protocol. The Protocol may be accessed through many web or mobile computer service interfaces; you are responsible for doing your own diligence regarding such interfaces to understand the fees and risks that they present. Although occam-x.fi developed much of the initial software code for the OccamX Protocol, it does not provide, own, or control the OccamX Protocol, which is run independently by smart contracts deployed on the Cardano blockchain. The Protocol does not constitute an account by which OccamX or any other third parties act as financial intermediaries or custodians. While the software code has undergone beta testing and continues to be improved by feedback from the developer community, open-source contributors and beta-testers, we cannot guarantee that there will be no bugs in the Protocol. Upgrades and modifications to the Protocol are managed in a community-driven way by holders of OCX, the OccamX token. As a condition of your use of the OccamX website or any third party website connecting to it (collectively the “Site”), you agree that you: (i) are at least 18 years of age; (ii) are not barred from using the Protocol, the Site, or any connected services under any law applicable to you; (iii) will not interfere with the intended operation of the Protocol or Site, including by hacking, submitting a virus, fraudulent information or tokens, or attempting to overload, “flood,” or “crash” the Protocol or Site; and (iv) you are, and your use of the Protocol is and will be, in compliance at all times with all laws, rules, regulations or orders applicable to you. Effective Price is an approximate value. Slippage permissions can be anything. We are limited to one transaction per block - your exchange may be in the line for a while. The exchange is made to the sender's address. The sender address is the first address of the first entry in the transaction Do not make transfers from exchanges. Do not send the transaction with the data Do not make transfers from wallets that do not support Cardano tokens. Using Yoroi wallet (and others like this) for exchange purposes, you agree that you do it at your own risk. If you exchange tokens for ADA and the amount of ADA that came with tokens is not enough to cover the cashback (2 ADA) and transaction fees (exchange fee and Cardano network fee), the deficient amount of ADA will be covered by tokens sent to you for exchange. If they are not enough, the exchange will not be made. THE PROTOCOL, THE SITE AND ALL INFORMATION CONTAINED ON THE SITE, ARE MADE ACCESSIBLE OR AVAILABLE ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS. YOU EXPRESSLY AGREE THAT USE OF THE SITE OR THE PROTOCOL IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT ALLOWED BY APPLICABLE LAW, NONE OF OCCAM-X.FI, ITS SUBSIDIARIES, AFFILIATES, AND PARTNERS, OR ANY DEVELOPER, EMPLOYEE, AGENT OR LICENSOR ASSOCIATED WITH ANY OF THEM, WARRANT THAT USE OF THE SITE OR PROTOCOL WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, FULLY SECURE, VIRUS- OR ERROR-FREE, NOR DO THEY MAKE ANY WARRANTY AS TO THE RESULTS THAT MAY BE OBTAINED FROM USE OF THE SITE OR THE PROTOCOL. EACH OF THE FOREGOING HEREBY DISCLAIMS ANY AND ALL REPRESENTATIONS, WARRANTIES AND CONDITIONS, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, AS TO THE PROTOCOL, THE SITE OR ANY INFORMATION CONTAINED ON THE SITE, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THOSE OF TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, MERCHANTABILITY, SUITABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AS WELL AS WARRANTIES IMPLIED FROM A COURSE OF PERFORMANCE OR COURSE OF DEALING.
Aug 30, 2022Getting started with OccamX testnet version The testnet C1 sidechain uses a dedicated token - milktADA (wrapped tADA) as its base asset for fees and gas. To use the Milkomeda Testnet, users need to create a Cardano testnet wallet and obtain some test ADA (tADA), which can later be converted to milkTADA on the C1 sidechain. Configuring Flint Wallet Flint Wallet is a Chrome extension that serves as a go-to light wallet for DeFi and NFTs. The current version of Flint allows users to create a Cardano Testnet wallet and enable "Milkomeda mode" to send transactions to the Milkomeda C1 testnet sidechain. Install Flint Wallet by visiting the following link while using Chrome browser and clicking the “Add to Chrome” button: Install Flint Wallet After installing, click the Extensions icon at the top right of the Chrome window and select Flint Wallet. Within the Flint window, proceed past the initial warning screen, click “Let’s Begin”, choose your language, click “I agree”, and when you arrive at the screen shown below, click the “Testnet“ button". Next, click “Confirm”, “Create a new wallet”, and write down a copy of your recovery phrase. Confirm the recovery phrase at the next screen, set a wallet password, and click “Create my wallet”. For now you can select “Skip” at the App Passcode screen, and then click “Finish”. You should now have a Cardano Testnet wallet, as shown:
Aug 30, 2022Is there any government token for OccamX? Yes, OccamX will be powered and governed by the OCX token What is the OCX token utility? After releasing on the Mainnet OCX token will be powering the DEX ecosystem as follow: Besides the maker fees that LPs receive, there is also an ongoing liquidity incentivization campaign. In other words, users will receive curv-style OCX rebates for providing liquidity across some OccamX pools. Pool weights are DAO governed. OCX stakers are entitled to occasional token buy-outs and redistributions. For every swap, a small ADA-denominated difference between maker rebates and taker fees is accumulating into a special purpose pool. Occasionally, this pool will be used to buy OCX back from the market. The OCX bought will thereafter be distributed pro-rata across all the OCX stakers. OCX stakers will hold voting power following the launch of the OccamX DAO, allowing them to have a say in governance decisions and the project’s trajectory. More importantly, however, are the DAO-governed pool weight parameters mentioned above. Long term stakers will have larger voting power and higher weight for receiving rewards.
