# ACM Management Meet - 7th May, 2021 ## Online Events ### Before-Event Roles - Sponsorship - crux of any event, big or small. - Might be difficult to get it considering online but find the suitable sponsors and you will get paid. - Areas to look at right now : Blockchain Companies, Full Digital Startups. *Example : Online crypto wallets are increasing right now, some small exchanges can give money for promoting their wallets.* - Due permissions from the office of DSW(Director of Student Welfare). - Event form needs to be filled atleast 3 days before the event for the event to be approved. - Mails to participants of previous events. - If new mail templates are required, inform the technical team before hand, so that they can make the necessary form. - Only content changes can be done directly in the html template. - Be ready to receive replies like, *please remove me from your mailing list.* - Promotion of events on various platforms. - Suppose we are conducting C2C, we can list the hacks on various platforms like Dare2Compete, share details on other community discord servers(if allowed),ACM newsletters. Any other place which you feel it can be done. - Social Media Promotion - Looking out for speakers if a hack is there, sponsors can provide their own speakers. - While events are online, every event will be on discord servers for the particualar event, so make sure there is a proper engagement. - Proper work distribution among everyone with deadlines where necessary. - Backup plans for any major step. ### In-event roles - Attendance of the participants. - Keep social media interactive. - In-event pictures. All pictures, official docs and other event related info to be added to a separate folder made for every event on google drive(acm outreach email/ acm vit email) - Taking care of the timeline. - Discord server handling. ### Post-event roles - Event report to be submitted to DSW. - Due transfer of money to winners as soon as possible. - A thank you mail to the sponsors so that we maintain a good relation with them.
