Review previous minutes and assign a note taker - [x] ACTION TA to Highlight the constitution in TA working group report. - [x] ACTION discuss at AGM way forward for sharing sample environment concerns. e.g. sharing sample environment designs from published papers. LB troughs, solid-liquid cells, humidity cells, electrochemical cells, Sophie Ayscough and Ben Humphreys were voted onto that. - [x] MS and AN to present idea for collaboration at AGM. (this was the sample environment WG) - [x] AMc going to setup anonymous voting system (w. QR codes). Mainly chairpeople we're voting for. Maciej Jankowski (Reproducibility), Jos Cooper (Data formats replacing Jochen who stood down), Stefan Kowarik (outreach replacing Bridget who stood down. Bridget is happy to come along for a DAPHNE4NFDI link) There was a brief discussion on how to encourage input from wider community when Working group chairs meet. Tom encouraged us to send email to mailing list via MailChimp. ## 2. AGM at SXNS. ### Feedback - [ ] ACTION (everyone) to update what happened at the Grenoble workshop on the webpage (https://www.reflectometry.org/workshops/workshop_2024/). - [ ] ACTION (everyone) Upload photos to github. * Meeting report for SrN & NN * suggestion that we write a short summary of the sessions for the webpage and then this can be used as the basis for an article? * Survey of attendees TA drafted a survey on Aug 5, in a Google form. * How much did you attend? * What do you care about? * Where the sessions the right length? * Is it clear as to how to contribute? * Was a 1 day meeting long enough? - [ ] ACTION TA & JC to update the survey & distribute * Plan for next year? ## 3. Reports from working groups ### Analysis WG ISA has kindly provided signing certificates for signing and notarizing macOS apps (GenX and refnx have already taken advantage of this). We should advertise this process on the webpage. EasyReflectometry + BornAgain + RasCal2 might be at least three other apps that could benefit. - [ ] ACTION TA to put item on webpage saying that we can now do this, and to contact Tim Snow if people are interesting. - [ ] ACTION AN to ask Wojtek how to sign Windows executables. ### Sample environment WG We had a quick discussion on how to work together to develop jointly better sample environment. Create lists on the sample environments each facility have.
