# Some tactics with boats (not maps!)
First some thoughts from our bloody (and wise) philosophers ...

## Illusion
While playing with calais in team, try to freeze only minimum (mostly tanks that approch too much), so calais don't have 50% damage off on frozen target.
With illusion, target enemies in this order :
1. most dangerous for us to stay in cercle, usually calais with sinbad/billy
1. then tank, larger and easier to hit with torpedos from far (even at 700m)
1. leave small boat to calais, for illusion small boat are harder to hit
## Calais

> 1. As Calais, **we need to soften the enemy so the Voladors can get the quick kills and the armor boost.**
> 1. One calais should have Cook to keep the fleet going while the other Calais (or two) are running damage caps like sinbad or Billy.
### Targeting with calais

1. While a target is frozen, should fire other enemies twice (if cooldown is 3s) and get back to frozen target to finish hit
1. this works even better with catalina for late torpedos from other teammates.
