# New non-zkp project ideas [TOC] ## Barry ### Transparent on-chain eigen trust #### Intro People (Optimisim) are working on on-chain attestation layers. https://community.optimism.io/docs/governance/attestation-station/ is the first draft. There are also many off chain attestation layers. For example followers on twitter. We want to make sense of these attestation layers. One algorithim to do this is eigen trust. #### Current work We are making a zkp for eigne trust but that takes time to finish and will focus on private sub-sections of the graph. #### Milestones 1. Import a network of data in some standard format 2. Run the eigen trust algorithim to calculate everyones global trust score 3. Make a contract that allows people to export these scores. ### Transparent on-chain sybil rank #### Intro Same as above #### current work We want to do a zk sybil rank algorithim but don't have time and a way to do it yet because it requires liveness. #### Milestones 1. Import network data 2. calulate everyones probability of being a sybil 3. Create an on chian group to allow users to use this reputation ### Scaling geth #### Intro At the moment geth works pretty okay but with low tps. When zkrollups and optimisic rollups start running at capacity this capacity will be streched. Geth was build for resource limited machines. Optimistic and zkrollup will run on more performant machines on aws. #### Goals Stress test geth on AWS to see how many tps we can deal with for 1. Block building 2. Bigger state 3. Logging Compare with turbo geth and other clients ## Tyler (order prioritized) ### *Recommendation* 1 FT Engineer needed that can help with Zkitter and CryptKeeper, with the following skills/experience: * Full-stack dev in Typescript * we mainly need a decentralized backend * Good Devops experience * With technical interest in: * Browser Extension Development * Decentralized databases * Scaling and decentralizing apps ### Zkitter Zkitter needs a backend/devops dev to help scale and refine the infrastructure. Gauthier is doing a great job and Tsukino should be coming back full force this week or next. Tsukino is the best person to reach out to for this, but he may be unresponsive this week. ### CryptKeeper CryptoKeeper could use another front-end developer with some interest/background in browser extension development, who wants to learn ZK & security. There is a good amount of work that needs to be done to take CryptKeeper from being a proof of concept to a production worthy browser extension. ### RLN RLN could use a full stack dev to help Rasul with the cloudflare idea, to help refine RLNjs, and to help scale the p2p version of zk-chat when Kaylee's grant is done (if we want to pursue that idea further). ## Chiali ### Channel 4 Content discover engineer that using state channels to incentive user. Need a full-stack developer who has basic knowledge of Ethereum stacks to start building project, the project will be very lean to start in order to test the market. User desires are there, people still remember the good days when stumbleUpon was around. #### High level project items 1. one to one channel POC 2. web app & browser extension Note this project will be as primitive to build other projects in the future such as mesh network, to help 3rd world countries and access payment faster..etc.
