# Boys Club
## Summary
Boys Club is a social club, community group chat & dinner series. Boy's Club gears itself towards women & non-binary individuals who are crypto and web3 curious.
Boys Club functions similar to a group chat of sorority sisters or friends with different backgrounds, various levels of knowledge, and web3 experience.
## Goal
*Onboard 1 million women into web3 by creating a safe space for those who are crypto curious.*
## Communication Style
The Boys Club community is one of the more active web3 communities. They're primarily connecting and communicating online with IRL events and meetups.
**Web3 Starter Pack**

**Forms of Online Communication:**
* Discord, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, Notion, Airtable, Podcast, Medium, Newsletter
* Community members share resources and valuable insight with each other to navigate the web3 ecosystem. They provide pillars of advice and support when needed.
* Discussions are around web3 specific topics, what they mean, and crypto-twitter.
## Becoming a Member
To become a member of the DAO, it is required that an application is submitted and applicants have joined the DAO's discord server.
## Strengths
* Decisions are made by aligning the DAO's fundamental values to determine the correct approach. This approach decreases the likelihood of ambiguity in the decision-making or actions implemented.
* The DAO is growing more rapidly than similar DAOs enabling the community to develop and utilize an outsized pool of talent, skills, and resources.
## Weaknesses
* As a young community, an established roadmap is needed. The DAO is more susceptible to failure without a guide to assist them in reaching their goals.
* If the DAO takes on too many initiatives at once, they risk stretching the community resources too thin and derailing from their primary goals.
## Opportunities
* The DAO has the support of the web3 community, allowing them to utilize the different resources available. (ex. They are involved in the Seedclub cohort)
* By collaborating with other DAOs through joint initiatives, they can increase their potential reach and create new opportunities that will benefit their community.
## Threats
* Compared to similar missioned, more established DAOs, they need to set themselves apart and distinguish themselves as the right fit for potential members.
* The mission of the DAO is too broad and could cause many problems for the organization if it does not have a clear vision.
