This is not a competition to just share ideas in PowerPoint, you must develop and show off prototypes of the concept. The code must be "pushed" to a Source Code Management system (called BitBucket) for it to be a valid entry. We award points for a mix of showing off solutions to problems and showing off the application of new technologies as follows: ###### Maximum 30 points for technology: use of innovative, nascent or unfamiliar technologies to FIS ###### Maximum 30 points for the problem solved: demonstrates utility and applicability for our clients (e.g., product/services, internal processes/improvements or other related ideas) ###### Maximum 30 points for the “wow” or “coolness” factor the innovative appeal of the solution ###### Maximum 10 points for the submission package: by the end of the 48 hours, source code checked into Bitbucket, into master branch, with a readme.md description of the project – no PowerPoint allowed! (See next FAQ for more details.) --- * This process enables consistent descriptions of your projects to share with others. * There are absolutely NO EXCEPTIONS. Every year we get teams saying they didn't know. See the FAQs on accessing BitBucket. * All files must be in prior to coding stop. We will set the repos to read-only at your coding stop. * Don't wait until the last minute to push your code. Check in files early and often! As you can imagine, if there are 50+ teams all trying to push code at the last minute, that will overwhelm the network and you may miss out. * We will not accept the readme.md file via email. It must be checked into BitBucket. * Document the idea in the InnovateNow tool (https://innovatenow.fnis.com).
