# Fine Tuna <center> ![](https://i.imgur.com/2AvSp5N.png) "Fine Tuna" </center> Superheroes have always been a popular topic, and with the recent resurgence in popularity of comic book films, there's no better time to be a fan. However, what if there was a way to take the superhero concept one step further? What if everyone could have their own unique character and where superhero had their own unique story, told through a connected universe of films, TV shows, and video games? This is the idea behind the AI-Universe. Imagine a universe in which every superhero is represented by their own NFT. Each NFT would be like a piece of the puzzle, and when put together, they would create a cohesive story. The possibilities are endless! You could have superheroes teaming up to take down a villain, or you could have them going on solo missions. There could be crossovers with other popular universes, or you could create an entirely new world. The sky's the limit! And best of all, because the stories are created using AI, they would be constantly changing and evolving, keeping readers engaged for years to come. How can we do this? In the comic book world, superheroes are often able to distinguish between friend and foe using their "super senses." AI models can be trained to do the same thing, but they usually need a lot of labeled data in order to get it right. That's where the power NFTs come in. NFTs can be used to represent anything from digital art to real-world assets, and they can be assigned labels through their metadata that help AI models learn how to identify them. By pooling data from multiple NFT holders, it is possible to fine tune AI models that are more accurate and robust than ones that are trained using data from a single source. This is due to the fact that NFTs provide a way to Crowdsource training data and that users can generate more labeled inputs that we can train models on. ## AI modeling and celular biology ![](https://i.imgur.com/DhaWuL8.jpg) "celular biology chaotic good" I tend to view the process of AI modeling similarly to celular differentiation processes in stem cells. Pluripotent stem cells are funny little things. they can be thought of as the "blank slate" of the cell world - all pluripotent stem cells have the ability to differentiate into any other cell type in the body. this process is called cellular differentiation, and it's responsible for creating all the different types of cells in your body, from skin cells to brain cells. ![](https://i.imgur.com/ddsdmU6.png) Fine-tuning ai models is a lot like cellular differentiation. just as pluripotent stem cells can become any type of cell, a well-tuned ai model can be used for any task. but just as pluripotent stem cells need to go through a process of differentiation to become specialized cells, ai models need to be fine-tuned to become specialized for a particular task. thus, the process of fine-tuning ai models can be thought of as a form of artificial cellular differentiation. by starting with a generic model and carefully tweaking it for a specific task, we can create a custom-made model that is optimized for that task. and just as pluripotent stem cells can give rise to any type of cell in the body, well-tuned ai models have the potential to revolutionize any field they are applied to. What we did with the first AI_Universe model is to specialize an "undifferenciated" stable diffusion model into being a "Superhero Generator" by training it with the AI-Universe captains and their prompts. As we discussed before we created a structured prompt for the AI-U: **`Prompt = "{Captain/God} {Superpower}{Side}{Alignment_1}{Alignment_2}"`** By training the model for around 6 epochs and allowing it to see the entire dataset we have introduced a strong bias where the model now tends to produce superheroes and uses the inputs to fill out the prompt structure. This means that we can now fill out the infinite universe with countless characters that are thematically consistent with the original set. As anyone who's been paying attention to the world of AI development knows, the last few years have seen exponential growth in both the capabilities of AI systems and the size of the AI community. However, keeping up with the speed of improvement can be difficult, even for those who are passionate about AI. That's why it's important to have a community of AI enthusiasts who can support and inspire each other. AI-Universe is building just such a community. By connecting AI enthusiasts from all over the universe, AI-U provides a space for collaboration and knowledge sharing. Because AI models have the ability to generate an infinite number of variations on a theme, they can create completely original narratives that explore the bounds of the universe. In this way, AI represents a new form of creativity, one that is not limited by the constraints of human imagination. And as AI models become more sophisticated, they will only become more adept at telling compelling and intricate stories. Now that we have a pipeline to create custom trained models we are going to start to explore the possibilities of what can differenciated models do to create content at a scale. We can for example filter the AI-Universe to select only supervilains or chaotic evil characters to create models that represent those traits specfically. We are also exploring models that are trained for less epochs to retain more of the flexibility of the base StableDiffusion model. Another exciting thing that can be done with more participants is the creation of new datasets with the outputs of the models we created along with new structured prompts generate ships, guns, planets and other elemnts to tell the story of the AI-Universe.
