## Introducing PolyMonsters: AI-generated NFTs for DeFi

The NERD research team at Polymon has been hard at work for the past few days. We believe that the NFT market in Matic will invariably grow as users seek lower gas fees and a better experience. We wanted to be the first AI NFT project on the Matic network. We are thrilled to show you the very first few PolyMonsters!

## What are PolyMonsters?

Polymonsters will consist of 7777 creatures that look like they came straight out of a Gameboy. The monsters will have attributes such as Type, Level, and Power Rating. The attributes will be stored on IPFS storage and the metadata will be frozen forever. Polymonsters will be available for purchase using PYM only at a fixed price of 100 PYM per NFT. The NFTs can be sold back for a fixed rate of 95PYM which will induce deflationary pressure on the ecosystem.

## PolyMonster Governance

The PolyMonster NFT represents the governance token of the Polymon Finance project. We plan to launch more NFT projects and DEFI-NFT infrastructure to expand what can be done with NFTs in L2 networks. Furthermore, the ample liquidity created by our yield farm provides any collection launched by our project a built-in price floor because all NFTs will be able to be sold back for PYM.

### When Launch?

We are currently putting the finishing touches on the dataset and plan to launch the collection within one week of this announcement. We will share the exact release date in our telegram channel so make sure you're there!
