# NERD GOV PROPOSAL:

## NERD x INFORMATION TOKEN

### Introduction

NERD Labs is a decentralized community that allows its members to engage with the crypto ecosystem as a collective. We are constantly experimenting with new value creation mechanisms and emergent communities to unlock the full potential of blockchain.

With this in mind we are thrilled to have reached an agreement with the extraordinary Gabagool to acquire an Information Token NFT in exchange for 1,000 NERD tokens. If this agreement is accepted by our communities it will signify the start of a long term symbiotic relationship between NERD & INFO.

### The Proposal

Nerd will acquire an information token V2 in exchange for 1,000 NERD tokens. The INFO NFT is valued at ~5 ETH and is backed by a thriving community which makes this a strategic investment for our DAO

We have requested in the proposal for an extra 1500 NERD tokens to create a covenant that incentivizes NERD-ETH uni V3 liquidity. Our short term goal is to seed a Rari Capital pool to enable lending for the NERD community which requires a liquid UniV3 position to serve as an oracle.

The NERD tokens will be sent to At0x.eth who will forward payment to the Information token treasury and the Covenant LP position.

### Voting Instructions

- Once you do, Browse to the [dapp](https://dapp.dfohub.com/?addr=0xfD344335b239d7864c83c7613FF7c228dF5F3e88) and select the proposals tab. The proposal is called "One Time".
- Voting is done through a staking contract therefore there is a slight gas cost associated.
- The voting period lasts for 44000 blocks which ammounts roughly to 7 days.
