# Nirvana Update <center><iframe src="https://giphy.com/embed/Ojic1RCQemSD6" width="480" height="318" frameBorder="0" class="giphy-embed" allowFullScreen></iframe><p><a href="https://giphy.com/gifs/nirvana-kurt-cobain-dave-grohl-Ojic1RCQemSD6">via GIPHY</a></p></center> Hello everyone. I've been having alot of people ask me about what our plans are regarding the evolution of the Nirvana protocol. ### Nerd Parnership purpose First, I have to say that the purpose of the Nerd project is to help build an ecosystem out of many different projects where value is created at the intersection of their use cases. On this note, The nirvana protocol came up with a unique vault design, that we think can be used to bring long term value to the ecosystem. This is why most of our efforts regarding nirvana have centered around the vaults and making more pairs to drive volume to bliss. This has had an effect of making bliss price action appealing and we will continue to onboard other pairings. ### Ideas regarding bliss One of the things we could do as a project is to create a balancer pool for Bliss/X pairings. We can make up to 8 different pools and allow people to buy with any LP they'd like. This would be great for the vault volume and the yields overall. On the UX side we can make a better front end for the vaults that show some stats and such. But we at nerds are compromised with quality and want to take our time to be able to do really nice products. There's also room for improving the smart contract of the vault itself, we have to work on this and dont want to compromise on specific timelines for anything. We want it to be great. ## Regarding VANA... The elephant in the room in the protocol is VANA. Although the idea behind it is interesting and it works, the current ETH situation has made it hard to find a value proposition for this token. This doesnt mean that anything has to end however. The nerds have many friends, and I believe that there is an opportunity at BSC to make VANA shine. Although I cannot personally compromise to heading this effort, I will facilitate any means available to me to get this done. The VANA token needs its tokenholders to show up for it to prosper, i can only tell you how to do it. I've got to remind you all that I dont have any tokens from the nirvana protocol, I have not been paid and dont intend on getting paid. This is all done to foster an ecosystem. This ought to make people who are holding the tokens and actually benefitting off of this to ask themselves not what the protocol can do for them, but what can they do for nirvana? Self assemble and ask for help, thats how we can get things happening.
