# New Haven County Sheriff's Office Firearms Licensing Curriculum ``` Author: DragonColeMD, m_rylandcrabcakes ``` > **This curriculum may be amended at any time.** ### Section I: Information 1. This license gives you the permission to sell legal firearms. Abuse of this, or selling firearms to criminals will result in your revoked and possibly blacklisted. 2. There are only some firearms that you are permitted to sell once you have this license. The firearms you are permitted to sell are: - Delino R21 - Delino Defender - Delino Special - Hawthorn 500 3. The legal ammo you are permitted to sell is: - .44 Rounds - 5.56 (10) Magazines - 12 Gauge Rounds (10) 5. To be able to lawfully distribute legal firearms you must complete an aptitude test after reading this to get a legal license to distribute firearms for your business. 6. This license has an expiration date of 3 months after its issuance date. ### Section II: Requirements > **Not following these requirements may result in your license to sell being revoked and or blacklisted.** 1. Applicant must hold a FOID, if a business holds a license, all sellers must have FOIDs. 2. Must follow all rules laid out by the Office of the Sheriff. 3. Must be a citizen and if applying for a business, all employees must be a citizen. 4. Applicant and any dealer within a business must have no more than 2 felonies, and 4 misdemeanors. 5. You must not sell to tourists. 6. The buyer must hold a FOID. ### Section III: Procedure In order to properly and legally sell firearms, you must follow these steps. 1. Check that the buyer has a FOID, if he/she fails to provide one, you must cancel the transaction. Failing to abide by this WILL result in your license being revoked. 2. Take buyer to a safe place that is not crowded with people. 3. Collect the money you've sold the firearm/ammo for. 4. Drop the firearm/ammo. 5.
