On [🎥20191002 VLive](https://youtu.be/MNzZHghxObs?t=1776), Taehwan had inflammation on the rim of nose piercing where Hyesung accidentally punched him😂. Regarding how to put the makeup on with a nose ring, Taehwan said he usually just skip the area (?!).

In 2022, Taehwan decided to take the nose piercing off right before the audition for PEAK TIME. He had it on for the last time on [📺20220619 K-Stage](http://youtu.be/eCFZ282ZNzA). Sungkook captured [🎥a video of Taehwan on 20220704](https://x.com/VannerOfficial/status/1543921254205636608) which he was chomping on a corn, with the visible hole on the nose. (Presumably during the time they were preparing for PEAK TIME audition.)

**[💖 Gon's tatto and variety of peircing]**

After finished the OSAKA concert in end of April 2019, on [🎥20190504 picnic vlive](https://youtu.be/kYqXq6ESPSQ?t=2840), Gon showed off his newly acquired tatto to VVS. He said it was a couple tattoo had got along with his dearest brother Tabasco.

Later in 2023, he mentioned on bubble live that Tabasco was planning to do another brother tattoo with him as a birthday gift. However, after discussed with his dad, they think it's better to think twice for the acting jobs he's always dreamed of. When VANNER held their fan concerts in Japan in 2023, on [the aftershow Youtube live](https://youtu.be/iIU2YrmjIN8?t=1575) they also talked about the tattoo Gon has on his arm. Traditionally, visitors with tattoos aren't allowed in Japan's hot springs. Hyesung, being Gon's caring roommate, prepared bath additive so that Gon could enjoy the hot spring in the hotel room.

Gon had his left eyebrow piercing since his pre-debut time. [📺20210623 VLive in the recording studio](https://youtu.be/fA2Lfs2kB94), he showed his six ear piercing and eyebrow peircing to VVS.
The piercing survived until late November during the 2021 US fan meeting.

After getting back to Korea in December, Gon shared the story of how he lost the eyebrow piercing on ([📺20211205 VLive](http://youtu.be/E_NtN1D9gNc). The curved barbell fell off with the skin while he was taking shower, leaving that badass eyebrow scar. In the cover video of [📺Because it's Christmas](http://youtu.be/6kZAd-JPQ6E) (recorded after Dec12), Gon covered the wound with hair to make it not as abvious.

Gon started wearing teeth braces in June 2022. He later talked about why he went onto wearing braces during [Entero EP04](https://youtu.be/1bAr8Xjw360?t=295) and 20231018 Bubble live. Taehwan suggested Gon to wear the braces when Gon asked what visual part should he improve.

During fansign events for VENI VIDI VICI in Sep 2023, Gon told VVS that he'd probably take off the braces before next comeback. 20231121 He reported his relationship with brace will be extended for a few more weeks on Bubble.

**[💛 Hyesung's ear rings]**

Hyesung usually wore multiple earings during the debut ear in 2019. He has a pair of piercing on the rim of earlonbe and a extra one on the left.

**[💜 Sungkook's nose piercing]**

Sungkook, aka Taehwan's sunflower, went on to obtaining nose piercing after Taehwan did.
After [📸20190624 flying back to Seoul from Tokyo concerts](https://twitter.com/VannerOfficial/status/1143098241690435584), Sungkook went straight to get the nose piercing. On [📸20190701 Daum cafe](https://cafe.daum.net/VANNER/mURk/206), Sungkook posted a selfie of him with the bling on the nose. Later on [📸20190711](https://twitter.com/VannerOfficial/status/1149336793579343872), he shared another photo on twitter.

His nose piercing era is mainly during 5cean album promotion (late 2019 to early 2020). On [📸20200214](https://twitter.com/VannerOfficial/status/1228270424074547200) 1st debut anniversary, Sungkook still had the piercing on. He didn't wear the stud after their Tokyo concert in March 2020.

Sungkook has three pairs of ear piecing that he's been changing the earrings style a lot throughout the time.

**[💙 Yeonggwang the minimalist]**
The youngest is the most simple one among them all. On [20190801 Vlive](https://youtu.be/WU3XMLNAj1U?t=3142), he mentioned that he wanted to have only two pairs of ear piercing, but apparently he has three pairs now. He usually wears basic ear loops while on stage. Yeonggwag doesn't have any other known tattoos or piercings.

## 🐶 Master singer puppy's trainee resume

When studying in Paekche Institute Of The Arts, Taehwan joined a band as vocalist. According to this [🎥photo collection (2011-2015)](https://b23.tv/BV1AX4y1k7hd), he pariticipated in school activities, and also started his dream of becoming an idol.

Taehwan revealed that [he had auditioned for many agencies](https://x.com/VVS_Europe/status/1314647480961769478), including Superstar K, JYP and SM. And he joined RBW as a trainee in 2012 ([when RBW was a training agency called Modern K](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RBW_(company)), not running their own music brand yet), where he met MAMAMOO members and was shocked by Hwasa's aura. And he was also awared of the evaluation film of [🎥him siniging Swing Baby](https://b23.tv/BV15u411J74J) has been out there on the internet. Other source said Taehwan met Taebeen from BLK met during this time. ~(not\ verified)~

However, on the [SEVENTEEN TV](https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLk_UmMfvZDx3ZqnV5cWvFeQEn_VcLei5h), which started broadcasting around 2012 Xmas, Tawhwan didn't appear in any of the videos. Later in June 2013, [Pledis released the 15 member list of SEVENTEEN](https://kprofiles.com/journey-seventeens-history) without Taehwan on it.

Taehwan also tried some acting gigs in 2015. He mentioned once on [📺20191202 VLive](https://youtu.be/Xtbi2eysckI?t=7932) that he was by himeself without any agency when he auditioned for the role. Sungkook intentionally revealed the name of the drama "Second 20s", with leading actress Choi Ji-woo. Taehwan joined WH CREATIVE as a trainee, along with Hyesung, Sungkook, Inho from BLK and [Seo SungHyuk from RAINZ/TAN](https://www.instagram.com/seosunghyuk.826) ([📺HwanTV greeting at backstage](https://youtu.be/ZSpaVZVHeuU?t=700)). He did not appeared on the show [📺20160715 I live alone](https://youtu.be/rPAc8jq6qhE) that was filmed at WH. He explained on [📺20191202 VLive](https://youtu.be/Xtbi2eysckI?t=7726) that he was in the company but probably had other schedule at the time. Plus there was a number limit of trainees to be on camera, thus only Hyesung, Sungkook, Inho and Namgeon (?) got to make appearance.

On 20171128, Taehwan and Hyesung went to [📰BLK debut Showcase](https://search.naver.com/search.naver?where=news&sm=tab_pge&query=BLK&sort=1&photo=0&field=0&pd=3&ds=2017.11.27&de=2017.11.29&start=1) to support their friends Inho and Taebeen on the new journey. Not long after BLK debuted under J&B Ent., three of them also left WH CREATIVE and joined VT Ent.

Taehwan was interviewed on [📺20190420 Golden Pond (Eng sub)](https://youtu.be/IRdDYe2aWso) with his mom in his hometown Dangjin. He talked about some of the hard times during the trainee life and the sorrow that his father could not witness his debut as an idol.

Having experienced training from different companies, though the journey might not be the smoothest, Taehwan finally carried through and showed us his strength and viability. Let's support him to be more succesful on every goal.
