| Data Management | Low number of applicants for spring course, but will be provided regardless (this time). Presentation on DM on this weeks 'Introduction to Bioinformatics using NGS data' |
| EvoBio | Started "internal-team-training" according to Mahesh idea, short session once a week |
| Health and Clinical | one interview done. low registrants from ML Biostats 1, deadline extended and readvertised. |
| Microbiology, Immunology and Structural Biology |Metagenomics course was discussed a bit and we are still figuring out if there is a need for this course|
| Systems development | Lack of courses. possibility of Internal courses to be offered |
| UPPMAX/SCoRe | One new AE for humanities starting soon. Julia-Python-R for HPC done, around 30 learners. Some of us have discussed and applied Blooms taxonomy for clear teaching goals. Programming Formalisms to be part of NBIS catalogue, still unsure about fees, as PF == NAISS co-organized. Upcoming courses: Bianca (sensitive data HPC cluster), Singularity, Programming Formalisms. |

* Person A: DI: nice idea, but I think it'd be good to have the reference a few days / 1 week in advance
* Person B: It's a great idea but I have some questions: 1. What will be the scope of attendees? 2. Who will drive the journal club? I think it's key to the success of the journal club. Should it be rotational? 3. Should the journal clud use a a different paper or book every time, or better to run the same book for several sessions for continuity?
* Person C:Good idea!, but the part with all reading the paper/book might be stressful if time is limited. Needs a bit of steering by someone who is familiar with the field. Maybe a thematic idea per time period?
* Person D:We can add this activity to the TrSG meeting. Set the slot to the end of the TrSG meeting , make it public. Doesnt have to be monthly but whenever there is a presenter.
* Person E: Nice idea, could it also involve inviting "outside" experts to introduce a topic or is that too much?
