## Information from NBIS TrC
- Completed migration to the new Training gdrive - almost
- Courses with ongoing application still using the old link. Some files with non-SciLifeLab email ownership havent been moved.
- SOP for Industry spots in NBIS courses is now in place and enforced
- Updates to templates, looking into automatic notifications
- Social media templates for course announcements and reminders
- Training report 2022-2023 in preparation (see [Report for 2020-2021](2021-22 (https://doi.org/10.7490/f1000research.1118982.1))for reference)
- FAIR Training Material by Design, 18-19 September [see](https://www.scilifelab.se/event/fair-training-material-by-design/)
- Restructuring of NBIS Training webpage is in progress

| AIDA | AI course for clinicians in May, fewer applicants. Maybe due to bad economy. |

| Data Management | Three new employees beginning in May-June. Onboardning an open question. Intro DM-course beginning next week. Industry outreach on GDPR. |

| Health and Clinical | John Lövrot to be onboarded eom. ML Biostats 1 next week. RaukR also lower number of registrants, but enough numbers. |

## Declining number of applicants?

2. Possible reasons
* online vs onsite is very difficult to understand if it's a factor
* depending on the difficulty level and duration of the course
* there's a lot of online courses offered
* not advertised enough
* low number of demands for some of the NBIS courses
* increasing number of mandatory University-taught courses for PhD students so not enough time left to take the cool NBIS courses
* Economy issues with some Departments in paying for course fees
* Is there a correlation with outlier numbers (highest vs lowest number) with course rating or a specific event?
3. Brainstorming for solutions/actions to take
* consider adding questions in the evaluation form
* Are you willing to travel
* survey advisory program students at grand meeting
* ECTS-eligibility
* overview schedule/learning paths only once per year
* hybrid (online and IRL) solution
* offer some courses to Master's students
